The seven-time Olympic medalist performed several remarkable performances during her elite competitions, dominating both the individual all-around and individual apparatus events. One of the events where Biles has claimed the crown in each of her six visits is the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Following her wedding, she promptly embarked on a rigorous training routine, subsequently securing narrow victories at the national level before leading her team at the international competition.

“It’s full circle because obviously, the World Championships were here 10 years ago, which were my very first one,” she said. The expression “ate and left no bread crumbs” perfectly sums up Biles’ departure from Antwerp, having clinched an astonishing 27 world championship medals. Almost two weeks since her historic triumph, a recent update reminded her of how fast the night changes.
