Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis showed his sparring partner no mercy during their training session.

As Davis stalked his opponent around the ring, beating him up, he found himself up against the ropes and almost fell out of the ring at one point.

Rather than allowing his sparring partner to take a second to sort himself out, ‘Tank’ mocked him by stepping out of the ropes himself.

And before his opponent had even readied himself, Davis jumped back into the ring and landed a body shot, as the pair continued sparring.

Davis posted this to his Instagram four years ago alongside the caption of three devil emojis.

This demonstrated ‘Tank’s’ ruthless streak that has helped him achieve huge success in the sport of boxing.

From an accolades perspective, he is 29-0, with 27 KO’s, and he has been world champion in the super featherweight division.

In terms of financial success, last time out Davis KO’d Ryan Garcia and the event reportedly brought in over $100 million in pay-per-view buys, sponsorship’s and ticket sales, resulting in a career high payday for ‘Tank’.

And the money looks like it’s going to keep coming as Davis’ promoter, Premier Boxing Champions, recently signed a broadcasting deal with Amazon Prime.

The agreement will see PBC stage 12-14 fights a year and Davis is expected to headline their first pay-per-view event in March.

As for who the opponent could be, there are a number of potentially lucrative options around his weight class, from Devin Haney to Teofimo Lopez, Vasiliy Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson among others.
