“I didn’t know who she was,” Owens said in an interview with Texas Monthly. “I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked.”
The pandemic offered the young couple — who first connected before the country shut down — a chance to really get to know each other. The foundation for young love was set. And my, was it exciting.
