Terence Crawford fought just once this year, but the nine rounds were enough for him to make a strong case as the very best in the world.

The Omaha native proved anybody who said his fight with Errol Spence Jr was 50/50 wrong by dominating the then unified welterweight champion. ‘Bud’ lifted all four 147lbs belts via a stoppage.

Now a two-time undisputed three-weight champion, Crawford was catapulted him to the top of many pound-for-pound lists. It’s a place he feels he absolutely deserves, as evidenced by a recent set of posts on social media.

Although a date nor weight is yet to be announced, Crawford is fully expected to fulfil his contractual rematch with Spence before moving on in his career.
