Haney is probably outgoing, Shakur ain’t gonna be far behind that because he’s short, they’re not.” Furthermore, he continued, “So if they’re gonna fight one of them, we better hurry up and do it now because the longer he waits, the more it weighs in their favor because they’re both gonna get bigger than him.”
So, Davis needs to get a fight for himself, and if not, Jones Jr. said, “So maybe you see him go back and fight somebody we want to see him fight a long time ago. We used to want to see him fight Loma. They stood at 135. Why not go back and fight Loma now?” So, Davis shouldn’t wait anymore to finalize a fight for himself. And as of now, Davis is showing interest in squaring up against Conor Benn.
