Floyd Mayweather, known for his flashy social media posts, recently made a claim that left his devoted followers all over the place. The former world champion is frequently the talking point for his actions in the boxing world, but every so often, he brings up something that leaves his fandom divided.

Today, the richest boxer in the world did something similar when he underscored the condition where women can’t act like a [what Mayweather calls] “regular bi**h.” The post is likely about a woman in his life, but only he knows who that may be. Nevertheless, here’s what the former champion wrote on social media.

Floyd Mayweather asks fans to share their thoughts

Turning to Instagram, TBE claimed, “If your man’s name holds weight, you can’t just be out here acting like a regular bi**h.” Alongside that line, he captioned the post, asking his followers for their opinion on the matter, “Share your thoughts!” Over the years, Mayweather has been involved with several women and had children with them.

The identity of this woman, however, still eludes everyone, including his fans on social media. Despite that, many did not require the woman’s identity to make their opinions known. So, they took to the comment section to describe what they thought was the right response to the statement made.

Fan urges Mayweather to learn how to identify the right woman

Not even an hour had passed, and a plethora of diverse opinions poured into the comment section. Some supported the retired boxer, while others speculated about what he was talking about. One user agreed with Mayweather but claimed regardless of whether the man’s name holds weight, a woman should remain true to their character. The user wrote, “EXACTLY!!!!! But even if he isn’t that one….you should still hold true to character and integrity, ladies.”

Others implied the message was for one of Mayweather’s girlfriends. “Floyd’s message to one of his ones lol,” the user remarked. It’s worth mentioning that nowhere has Mayweather explicitly mentioned that these words were for someone in his life.

Another user had some vital advice for Mayweather. The user urged Mayweather to “Learn how to pick them….stop wifeing the wrong ones.”

Meanwhile, one user was left perplexed with what Floyd was trying to say. The user asked, “Wtf does ‘acting regular’ even mean?”

One user highlighted that some women don’t respect a man unless they are rich or famous. “The problem is most of em act like man ain’t s**t anyway, especially if he ain’t rich or famous,” the user commented.

While Floyd Mayweather took a detour from his regular social media post with a rather perplexing statement for his followers, not all of them are on the same page as him. The bigger question still is – who Mayweather was talking about? Who, in your opinion, was the post targeted at?
