As hype grows for the 2024 gymnastics season, fans hoping to see Simone Biles’s victorious comeback to the Olympic stage were in for a surprise. The gymnastics GOAT and her husband, Jonathan Owens, decided to go on a romantic holiday, temporarily halting the gymnastics fever. After their destination wedding in Mexico in April 2023, the power couple finally found time for a secret trip, sharing photos of their lovely getaway on Instagram stories.
One such story highlighted Simone’s romantic beach walk, captioned “Ready to go on vacation again.” Owens joined along, sharing a video of the stunning setting, replete with beach blankets and deck chairs, and recently became a paparazzi for his stunner wife.

While gymnastics fans awaited Biles’ participation at the Winter Cup in Louisville, Kentucky, she instead delighted her fans with a carousel of breathtaking vacation photos, jokingly advising, “Prepare to be sick of me,” under a shot of Owens on a flight. In response, Owens took to his Instagram story and shared a photo of his wife wearing a white lingerie set with a black net floor-length dress.
Earlier, Biles gave a sneak peek into their location by uploading a photo of their journey; however, they later revealed they were in Hawaii. Sharing a wedding card of their close pals, Keely Amelia Cartrett and Kamu Grugier-Hill. The athletic power couple attended the wedding week in Hawaii, with Biles sharing, “Let’s get y’all married,” against the backdrop of the beach.
Biles had committed to attending this wedding just a month into the married club last year. The 26-year-old gymnast confirmed their participation in the festive activities by uploading a photo of the wedding card, captioning “Meet us in Hawaii,” and tagging the now-married couple. Although she missed out on her childhood best friend’s wedding in October. Owens and Biles began dating in March 2020, but their relationship was made harder by long-distance when Owens signed a new deal with the Green Bay Packers. However, this year came a change: Jonathan’s NFL season ended, allowing him to spend Valentine’s Day enjoying his wife.

What better way than reliving the best day of a relationship on Valentine’s? The 28-year-old Packers safety shared pictures from their engagement. “It’s been two years since this beautiful day; time truly flies. You are my rock, and I feel like I can do anything with you at my side,” read Owens sweet note on Instagram.
In February 2022, Owens proposed to Biles going on one knee on Valentine’s Day during golden hour at Brenner’s Steakhouse on the Bayou in Houston.
Biles responded by saying in the comments, “I love you more than ever, baby🤍 Best decision ever,” resharing on her Instagram story.
