This 19,000-seat arena offers a unique East Coast energy and potentially a different dynamic for the fight. Nobody knows why they went ahead with this certain choice, but Gervonta Davis believes that it happened because of him.

Besides the announcement of the venue shift, a random X account also declared that Gervonta Davis is set to enter the ring again on April 20. They wrote, “@Gervontaa fight on April 20th.” Now, this is the same date when Haney and Garcia will be squaring off against each other.
Interestingly, Davis did not deny this claim. In a now-deleted post, he stated it to be the reason for the Haney-Garcia venue shift, explaining that it was because he was going to fight in Las Vegas on that night. So, he retweeted the post of the fan and hinted that the venue of his next fight could be in Sin City, Las Vegas.
Davis wrote, “You kno why they fighting in ny.”
It still can’t be stated clearly whether this was just a way for Davis to take a jab at his two rivals, or was he serious. Well, he could be, since ESPN’s reporter Mike Coppinger has revealed Tank’s next opponent.
