After all, the 26-year-old reemerged from a two-year-long hiatus and straightaway won another world championship all-around gold.
Owing to this stellar revival, Simone Biles has been nominated for the ‘World Comeback of The Year’ Award. This moved the gymnastics GOAT to write a heartfelt message for all her supporters and well-wishers who stood by her side. Reflecting her love for them, Biles added a new story on Instagram and showered her appreciation.
She wrote, “I’m always speechless about these nominations 😭🥹🤍. My sincerest gratitude for everyone who has supported me & continues to support my journey & dream💋💋💋💋💋.” The emojis suggest that the mighty Olympian was moved to tears because of this.
This award means a lot to Simone Biles. All the glorious conversation around her got polluted with the conversation of her twisties. Moreover, many even said that the elite gymnast was turning her back on her country and wasn’t a true patriot.
