Gervonta Davis is the big bad wolf in the lightweight division. And he is the moneymaker and trend setter. Despite how scary he is as a fighter, everyone wants a piece of him for the chance at glory and a big payday.

Shakur Stevenson might be at the front of the list when it comes to those pining to face Tank, and he certainly has some credibility given his record and name power. But Davis has seemingly bypassed Stevenson entirely, with Vasiliy Lomachenko the heavy favorite to be his next opponent.

Shakur Stevenson says “I don’t care” about not getting fight with Gervonta Davis

In an interview with BoxingScene, Stevenson spoke about getting overlooked despite his qualifications.

Stevenson says he doesn’t care, but there’s definitely a part of him that feels underestimated. He’s been calling out Tank for a while and hasn’t gotten the response he wants yet.

Stevenson was also asked about potentially fighting Lomachenko, something that he’s definitely up for and believes should happen.

Meanwhile, Stevenson is preparing to face Artem Harutyunyan on July 6. He will be defending his WBC lightweight title
