Jarrell Miller body transformation has fans stunned as huge heavyweight trims down for Andy Ruiz clash on Terence Crawford undercard

Jarrell Miller is seemingly well aware that he could now be in boxing’s last chance saloon.

The controversial heavyweight, who has failed multiple drugs tests across his career, is set to face Andy Ruiz on August 3 as part of the undercard of Terence Crawford’s clash with Israil Madrimov in LA.

Miller initially built an undefeated record of 23-0-1 when he came to prominence as a heavyweight contender in 2018.

This record secured him a date to fight Anthony Joshua in June 2019.

However, he failed several drugs tests and so was pulled from the bout.

Funnily enough, it was Ruiz who famously replaced him at short notice and knocked out Joshua in one of the biggest upsets in modern boxing history.

Miller attempted to return in 2020 as he’d avoided a ban due to a loophole – he wasn’t licensed by any American commission at the time of his positive tests.

However, when he tried to get back in the ring he tested positive once more and this time did receive a ban.

It was only in 2022, after a three-and-a-half year absence, that Miller finally fought again.

It seems he’s very aware this could be his final big opportunity as new pictures from his training camp show he might be in the best shape of his career.

The huge heavyweight normally weighs upwards of 300lbs for his fights.

He has not come in below that number since 2017, and most recently scaled 333lbs for the Dubois defeat.
