Deontay Wilder has made his prediction ahead of a potential super-fight between undisputed super-middleweight championDeontay Wilder has made his prediction ahead of a potential super-fight between undisputed super-middleweight champion, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, and widely accepted pound-for-pound number one, Terence Crawford.

Crawford called out Canelo after defeating Errol Spence Jr for the undisputed welterweight title in a bid to become a three-weight undisputed champion after also holding all four belts at super-lightweight in 2017.

To make it happen ‘Bud’ would need to make an unprecedented three-weight jump, but a win would cement his place as one of the sport’s greatest ever fighters.

Canelo hasn’t shied away from the call-out, but believes he has more important things to take care of.

Should that ever change, former heavyweight world champion Wilder told ES News he backs his countryman to come out on top and achieve greatness.

Wilder believes ‘Bud’ would refuse to show Canelo the respect that previous challengers have and would take the fight to the Mexican.
