Following suit, the power couple once again took all the social media brownie points through their matching attire, as they celebrated their first Christmas together as a married couple.
Though the couple recently faced a minor backlash from the social media cult due to the NFL safety’s ‘catch’ comment, the couple made sure to not let the hate hinder their relationship. Hence, keeping the scrutiny aside, the gymnast and the Green Bay Packers Defensive Line decided to embrace the festive season on a positive note.

As the jingle bells chimed in, Simone Biles took to her Instagram to post an adorable picture with Jonathan Owens. The image showcased the couple wearing matching outfits. Both of them were clad in comfy red, black, and bluish-white plaid co-ord sets. The image showed Biles comfortably perched on Owens’ lap while he had his arms wrapped around her.
Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles got themselves clicked completely lost in a ‘well-plaid’ moment. A pretty and elegant white Christmas tree could also be seen in the background, further beautifying the picture. Adding the caption, the gymnast penned, “MERRY CHRISTMAS.”
This is the first Christmas celebration for the couple after they got married in April this year. Simone Biles had previously flown from Texas to visit Owens in Wisconsin to celebrate Thanksgiving with him.

The latest episode of The Pivot podcast saw Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens joining the conversation about all things NFL. The flow of conversation naturally flowed toward the early dating life of the gymnast and the NFL safety. However, while telling their story, the Packers’ safety said, “I always say that the men are the catch.”
This comment, along with several others instantly caught fire on the web, with trolls heavily bashing Owens for his words. Simone Biles made a subtle moment to dispel the hate-mongering and posted a picture with Owens to silence the conjectures surrounding them.
