“You Think You Have the Answer”: Gervonta Davis Slams a “Boxing Page” for Spreading Wrong Update Amid UK Return Talks

And Gervonta Davis returns; or is it merely a rumor that is being pushed around? The boxing world continues to wait for the American boxer’s next fight announcement. While it seemed the fans’ wishes had come true, they were given a bitter pill to swallow. When the fans and magazines thought they had “the answer,” the champion shattered their dream in a scathing style.

‘Tank’ last fought Ryan Garcia in a record fight last April and bagged a spectacular KO win. Since then, he has stayed away from boxing and has made waves outside the ring. From changing his religion to purchasing his Baltimore neighborhood, the 29-year-old has done it all except throw a punch in the square circle. Therefore, when Ring Magazine reported his probable comeback this summer in the UK, the boxing world was elated. However, these rumors and speculations left a bad taste in Davis’ mouth as he slammed one such “boxing page.”

Gervonta Davis brutally shuns the rumor mill

Contrary to Ring Magazine’s claims, Boxing Kingdom had contested that Gervonta Davis’ next fight would be in the United States. Moreover, the page contended that Las Vegas would again welcome the lightweight champion. Rumors, speculations, and conjectures are not sitting well with Davis.

Davis then turned to his X handle and replied to Boxing Kingdom’s post. He wrote, “Lol, you think you have the answer but you don’t. You need to stay in ya place and be a boxing page..that’s what’s wrong w yall now..everybody wanna do someone else job when they not even good at their own!”

It seems the reports are off the mark, and the Baltimore native has yet to make a call on his next fight. The question looms large still. Is it the American soil that will host him next, or is he crossing to the other side of the Atlantic? But what about the lucrative Middle East that is steadily dislodging Las Vegas?

‘Tank’ headed to Saudi Arabia?

When recently asked about whether Davis would head to Riyadh someday, the lightweight boxer had an amusing response. Turki Alalshikh wants him to fight in Saudi Arabia this year. But Davis has a peculiar demand.

Davis said, “They made me mad, if they want me they gotta send me something to my front door..like 2 Ferraris or [something]!” While he has recently flirted with the idea of meeting Devin Haney in the ring, the fight is still far from finalized. The fans might have to wait for a while before they get concrete details about Davis’ return.
