Fans stood in line for hours to get the exclusive Prime gold bottle

On November 10th, a long queue of young fans awaited the opening of the London Prime Store opening, as they couldn’t wait to get their hands on the exclusive gold bottles. According to Business Insider, leading the pack in the front Ellie Whitby and her friend Emanuele Maccotta, who braved the dreadful 15 hours of rain and 50-degree weather. Their decision to queue up was spontaneous, that sparked after a nighttime stroll past the store.

Whitby, the owner of a YouTube channel with 290,000 subscribers, saw the occasion as an opportunity to capture engaging content for the internet. Following closely was Steve Cooper, the brains behind the online candy emporium, Central Sweet Supply, who noted a significant uptick in business related to Prime in some recent months. Driven by the profitable money, Cooper sought to seize the chance to purchase the prized gold bottles from exiting visitors. Currently, the bottles are being featured on the Central Sweet Supply website for $171.

In November 2016, a fight took place between two debutante fighters. That night at the iconic T-Mobile Arena of Las Vegas, a fighter was born who would win multiple championships in a very short time. Her story etched with resilience soon became the talk of the town. She was Claressa Shields.

In her 14-bouts-long career, Shields took down some of the best female boxers of this age, one by one. She was a promising fighter who knew what she was worth and what she could amass. And this confidence pushed her to go against Nikki Adler in 2017 for her first championship stint. It was Shields’ fourth fight in her novice career. Yet, that night she merged as the IBF and WBC middleweight champion. She would remain unstoppable from hereon in. Today, when she celebrates 7 years in the ring, she is reminded of her debut: A fight that saw her take the hardest punches in her career.

Claressa Shields Remembers Her Debut Fight

Claressa Shield

On 19 November 2016, exactly 7 years from today, Shields entered the ring against Franchon Crews Dezurn. The fight was touted as one of the most enthralling fights of that time. It hosted two debutante boxers taking their fight against each other after having proven their worth vividly in their amateur careers. While Shields won the fight through a unanimous decision, it was not a victory that came easy to her.

The fighter says Dezurn gave her the hardest punches she’s ever been hit with. In celebration of their anniversary in the pro-ring, Dezurn took to her X to wish Shields the same feat. She wrote“Happy Pro Debut Anniversary @Claressashields ! We Did That & So Much More. #HerStory… Keep It Going Love” In return came a response that would have completely flattered Dezurn. Shields wrote, “Still the hardest punches I’ve been hit with.”

While she powered through her career, registering no losses to date, her first opponent Dezurn also became a force to look out for. After the Shields loss, she undertook lethal fights one after the other until she registered her second loss only this year. Throughout her 11 fights, she went against elite fighters like Savanah Marshall, Ashleigh Curry, and Maricela Cornejo. Come 15th of December, she will enter the ring against Shadasia Green in a bid to claim the vacant WBC super middleweight title.

A Shields Rematch for Savanah Marshall

Savannah Marshall, after claiming the undisputed super-middleweight title in boxing, now gears up for a challenge in mixed martial arts (MMA). Training alongside UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall, Marshall aims to transition into an all-round fighter. Expressing her enthusiasm for the MMA venture, Marshall admits she’s not an MMA fighter but aims to showcase adaptability across sports.

She says, “I’m under no illusion that I’m an MMA fighter. I’m not. It’s an opportunity I’ve been given and something I’m really, really excited about. If I can go in there and show that I’m an all-round fighter and I can switch sports, it would be brilliant for me.” Marshall eyes a potential rematch with Claressa Shields, her boxing rival, who previously defeated her for the middleweight undisputed title in boxing. Marshall anticipates a March boxing match before potentially stepping into the SmartCage in June or July for her MMA debut.

The journey of boxing champions Claressa Shields, Franchon Crews Dezurn, and Savannah Marshall, marked by victories, setbacks, and a quest for new challenges, embodies the resilience and ambition that define the world of combat sports. As Shields and Dezurn commemorate their 7-year milestone, Marshall ventures into the realm of mixed martial arts. Their ongoing pursuit of excellence stands as a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of athletic prowess and versatility.

The fight night is almost here, folks! So, all the pre-fight shenanigans for David Benavidez vs. Demetrius Andrade are in full force. On that note, a poster for the upcoming fight is making the rounds on the internet. While all the major names involved in the fight were featured on the poster, one face stole the show. However, not for the reason one might think. Instead, the topic of discussion became Benavidez’s new look, something even Claressa Shields commented on.

With a mere five days from the fight night, a user turned to X (formerly Twitter), sharing the poster for the fight. Besides the main card, the poster featured the likes of Jose BenavidezJermall CharloSubriel MatiasHector Luis Garcia, and Lamont Roach. Despite having such giants involved in the fight, ‘The Mexican Monster’ seemed popular in the comment section. As the post started circulating, Benavidez quickly became the butt of all jokes because of his new look.

Claressa Shields and fans are left perplexed by David Benavidez

Since the poster went live on the platform, it has gathered over 68K views, nearly 500 hearts, and a plethora of comments on Benavidez’s new look.

Claressa ‘The Goat’ Shields quickly found the poster floating on the platform, so she expressed her surprise by suggesting it was not Benavidez.

With that out of the way, here is what Benavidez has to say about his upcoming fight.

David Benavidez was upset his last fight went the distance

While people on X poked fun at his new look, David expressed he wanted to do what he could not in his last fight. According to an article from Boxing Scene, Benavidez vowed to stop Demetrius while expressing disappointment with failing to knock out his previous opponent during his media day workout.

“I do expect to stop Andrade…My last fight went the distance, and I was upset about that,” said Benavidez. He went on to confess that he would change that outcome in his fight against Demetrius. “We’re gonna correct that and stop Demetrius Andrade,” said ‘The Mexican Monster.’ While Benavidez is confident about his upcoming fight, only time will tell if he can mirror his claim inside the ring.

With less than a week left in the fight, fans and Claressa Shields are left perplexed with Benavidez’s new look. However, the burning question is – who do you think will win the fight on 25 November? What do you think about Benavidez’s new look?

MIKE TYSON has revealed who he thinks will win the bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

The much-anticipated fight will take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It will be the first time in history that all four WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles will be on the line.

Fury was last in the ring on October 28 when he secured a narrow split decision victory over Francis Ngannou.

The UFC star was making his professional boxing debut and came close to beating the Brit, knocking him down in the third round.

Ngannou was trained for the bout by Tyson and now the 57-year-old has had his say on Fury vs Usyk.

tyson fury and oleksandr usyk

The legend is still backing the Gypsy King despite his poor performance last time out.

Tyson told Fight Hub TV: “You have to understand he is still the champion. He made that night a great night.

“He gave Francis the opportunity and that was just a bad night at the office for him.

“We all have bad nights, and listen, that was his bad night.

“I look forward to Fury vs Usyk. That is going to be an interesting fight.

“I’m going towards Fury because I think he’s just going to overpower him. He’s going to catch up with him and overpower him.

“I got to go with Fury. I think he’s the best fighter in the world, especially in the heavyweight division.

“Great fighters lose, great fighters look bad, that doesn’t stop them from being great fighters.”

Fury will be delighted to have the backing of his idol and he was even named after the American fighter.

What promotions in the United Kingdom or anywhere else for that matter weren’t able to accomplish, this Saudi mogul managed to do it without breaking a sweat. For months, there was a back a forth between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s promotions as they never agreed on putting together thatunification fight for all the Heavyweight belts. It took Turki Alalshikh only weeks to make happen, he is Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority who also happens to be UD Almeria’s owner. That’s the man boxing fans aroundthe world should thank for not only putting together this hitoric boxing match that was just moved to February, 2024. He’s also managed to put together another three events that will blow people away.

He was the mond behind the ‘Battle of the Baddest’ between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou back in October. Leading up to that event, we covered a picture that included some of the greatest boxers ever with Cristiano Ronaldo as an unexpected photo bomb. But Alalshikh wasn’t part of that picture. However, he was part of another picture that included everybody but Fury and Ronaldo. At the time it was snapped, none of those two were present but legends like Manny Pacquiao, Mike Tyson, Conor McGregor, Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray Leonard, Usyk himself, and many more were part of the picture. This man also put together the upcoming December 23 boxing event that is stacked and it will also happen in Riyadh. Alalshikh was right in the middle, he posted this image on his official X account.

Turki Alalshikh also announced the ‘Last Dance’ between Messi and Ronaldo

But the Almeria owner is also apparently pushing to make the matchhappen between Inter Miami CF and Al Nassr for early 2024. Although the MLS club just came out to deny this game is scheduled, we suspect Alalshikh is not giving up without a fight. We can expect tough negotiations in the coming weeks where he may get away with maing this friendly match after all. At the ver center of every single one of these negotiaitons, we have this Saudi mogul simply offering the right price. We know how Saudi Arabia has money to spend for all eternity. It was about time we put a face on that person behind all these events.

The spirit of Thanksgiving has taken over. The sport of boxing has numerous blood-pumping moments of action, but rarely something heartwarming takes center stage. One user asserted that the media won’t cover Davis’ generous action for the people of his city. “This what they won’t speak about tho,” the user wrote.

One user praised ‘Tank’ for being an example for others to give back to the community. “Pure Fire @gervontaa Good looking out, Champ. Lead by example,” the user comments. With that out of the way, here’s the opponent ‘Tank’ thinks can beat him.

Only boxer that can beat ‘Tank’

The Baltimore native’s generosity isn’t the only thing that has the boxing world talking. Speculations about his return to the ring have also been the talk of the town. In a prior clip of ‘Tank’ on YouTube, Davis revealed the only fighter that can beat him. While most people would think it’s Shakur Stevenson or Devin Haney, the truth is furthest from that.

You got the last one right – that’s the only person that could beat me, Gervonta Davis,” said Davis. Naming himself as the only possible boxer capable of defeating him, Davis claimed that nobody else is capable of accomplishing that. “That’s the only person. Those others cannot touch me at all,” said ‘Tank.’

With Thanksgiving night approaching quickly, Davis’ heartwarming action has delighted his fans everywhere. What did you think of Tank’s giveaway on Thanksgiving?

Gervonta Davis was able to pick up a seventh-round knockout victory against Ryan Garcia with a vicious body shot earlier this year. Despite the loss, the former WBC interim lightweight champion recently revealed that he believes he is better than the WBA lightweight champion while calling for a rematch.

Michael Benson of talkSPORT shared Garcia’s comments, tweeting:

While fans shared their disagreement with Ryan Garcia’s comments, a few like @jamesca86889735 accused him of being on drugs:

When do Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis fight next?

While Gervonta Davis will not make his return to the ring until 2024, Ryan Garcia will face Oscar Duarte on December 2nd at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Although he fought in the biggest pay-per-view event of 2023, the bout will not be on pay-per-view and will serve as a standard issue DAZN event, streaming live in nearly 200 countries worldwide to anyone with a DAZN subscription.

Anthony Joshua has made it clear he doesn’t appreciate Deontay Wilder’s recent criticism of him.

‘The Bronze Bomber’ questioned Joshua’s identity and said he wasn’t born a champion, he was made a champion by his promoter Eddie Hearn.

But, Joshua has not taken kindly to this, responding: “Who the f*** is he? He’s a boxer not a psychologist…”

Joshua then compared their two resumes, pointing out that he knocked out Jason Gavern in his eleventh fight, whereas Wilder didn’t manage the same feat until his 32nd bout.

“The boy has had 50 fights and he fought Jason Gavern in his 30-something fight, I probably fought him in my 12th,” Joshua continued.

“We are different, my identity is strong.

“If they’re looking for weaknesses and gaps, then they need to stop looking over here because I’m solid.”

This comes as the pair are expected to meet in the ring at some point next year in a highly anticipated clash.

anthony joshua and deontay wilder

But first, they will both have to get through their respective bouts on the same card on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua comes up against tricky southpaw Otto Wallin, who is best known for taking Tyson Fury the distance and cutting him badly.

Meanwhile, Deontay Wilder will fight Joseph Parker who is a former WBO heavyweight world champion and he has previously fought Joshua, losing by unanimous decision.

The undercard of the event will feature a number of other big names including Daniel Dubois vs Jarrell Miller, Dmitry Bivol vs Lyndon Arthur and Filip Hrgovic vs Mark De Mori among others.

Following the official announcement of Anthony Joshua’s December bout against Swedish heavyweight, Otto Wallin, a clip of one of the duo’s two amateur contests has been doing the rounds on social media.

Whilst some fans see the fight as a ‘warm-up’ for Joshua, there are plenty that believe the tricky southpaw could cause the Brit problems, especially considering ‘AJ’s two defeats to another lefty in Oleksandr Usyk and Wallin’s strong performance against Tyson Fury in 2019.

However, this will not be the first time that Joshua has squared off against the Swede. He defeated him twice as an amateur and has since employed Wallin’s services as a sparring partner in preparation for his first world title win against Charles Martin in 2016.

Anthony Joshua

On social media, a clip of their first meeting, in the final of the Haringey Box Cup at Alexandra Palace in 2010, has been shared.

Joshua got the unanimous decision win on that night, and also in Sweden the following year.

However, Wallin has explained that those fights are of little significance as they were over a decade ago, and both men have vastly improved since, he told Seconds Out.

Joshua-Wallin is the co-main event alongside Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker for the event in Saudi Arabia on December 23, topping a bill which features a plethora of stars including Dmitry Bivol, Jai Opetaia, Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois.

Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder have fought the same man more than once but Joshua has picked out one specific name as a yardstick with which to beat his American foe.

Joshua and Wilder are still not scheduled to fight each other, though many are hoping that by appearing on the same bill in Saudi Arabia they are closer finally getting it on in the ring. On December 23, ‘AJ’ will face Swedish southpaw Otto Wallin on the same card that Wilder takes on game New Zealander Joseph Parker.

Parker was once the WBO belt holder, but he relinquished the title over 12 cagey rounds when he came up against Joshua. Wilder and Joshua have also both fought and knocked out Dominic Breazeale, though Wilder did so in the first compared to Joshua in the seventh.

Anthony and Deontay

After the press conference for the stacked end of year card, Joshua stated how both men took on journeyman Jason Gavern but at very different points in their careers.

Joshua went on to find other holes in Wilder’s CV.

The two heavy hitters appear at the top of a bill that also features the likes of Dmitry Bivol, Daniel Dubois, Jarrell Miller, Dmitry Bivol and Jai Opetaia.
