Who is Tiger Woods partnering up with? This question has dominated the minds of the ardent fans of the legend in the community ever since he exited Nike and teased a new apparel announcement with a couple of cryptic messages, one of which came out just a while back. Now, interestingly, the golfer’s final ‘Sunday Red’ tease seems to hint at a partnership with a certain brand, none other than Greyson Clothiers.

A tweet was shared by TWLEGION, a fan page dedicated to the professional, dishing out their “initial observations” regarding the post that Mr. T shared on February 10. While doing so, the handle seems to have taken a page out of the rumors associated with the legend’s son, Charlie Woods, who is reportedly said to have signed a deal with Greyson Clothiers.

Is Tiger Woods set to sign with Greyson Clothiers?

Woods had earlier divulged how he would reveal the details surrounding the ‘Sunday Red’ brand on February 12th. Well, commenting on the second tease following the same, the post shared on social media by TWLEGION mentions how the “collar” of the red shirt that the golfer sports in the X post “resembles Greyson stitch pattern and design.”

Reports, as per the sightings, thus indicate he is set to follow his son to the clothing company. Earlier in December 2023, the 14-year-old athlete was also rumored to have signed with Greyson Clothiers owing to his sporting garments from the label during his PNC Championship appearance with his father. Moreover, he was also welcomed to the family by NFL Sensation Larry Fitzgerald on his Instagram story, thereby adding fuel to the fire of speculations surrounding the same.

Well, that wasn’t all the fan page observed from the recent picture posted by the 15-time major champ. Commenting on his attire, the tweet also recounted how the legend “has never worn woven belts like this.” Adding on, however, they also pointed out how only guys like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler wear “a belt similar to this from Nike.”

However, was that all that was observed from the post that was shared by the golfer? No, not even close, as another fan site put on their detective hats to dish out another set of speculations as per the recent sightings.

Woods’s cryptic announcement hints at partnership

TWSPOT, which is yet another fan site for the legend, went ahead to put on their sleuthing spectacles to observe the gloves that the 48-year-old was wearing in the post. They pointed out how “TaylorMade’s new Sunday Red logo is visible on the glove,” all the while speculating an alliance with his trusted club makers.

Nevertheless, in the end, that’s what they are—just rumors. But not to worry, just one more day is remaining for the athlete to make do with his promise and let his fans and the community know what or who is behind the iconic ‘Sunday Red’ announcements. Let us calm down and wait a bit more!

It appears that Tiger Woods’s 14-year-old son Charlie has a potential apparel partnership in the works with Greyson Clothiers, the golf clothing company most notably worn by Justin Thomas.

Over the weekend, Woods and his son competed in their fourth consecutive PNC Championship. While the 15-major champion sported his iconic Nike swoosh-adorned scripting—including his signature Sunday red polo—the high school freshman seemed to be subtly sporting Greyson half-zips and shirts.

The brand’s wolf emblem appeared on the back of Charlie’s collar during the tournament’s final round. Team Woods competed alongside Thomas and his father Mike during Round 1, who were also decked out in Greyson. It’s well-documented that the Thomases and Woodses have a close off-course relationship.

Although the branding was already quite obvious, an unexpected individual seemed to reference a potential partnership between Charlie and Greyson in a social media post. Larry Fitzgerald, the former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver and avid golfer, re-shared a photo of the teen wearing Greyson on his Instagram story on Sunday evening.

“Welcome to the @greysonclothiers family, Charlie,” Fitzgerald wrote.

The NFL legend added a “#greysonpartner” hashtag, which denotes his own sponsorship with the golf brand. Fitzgerald’s team confirmed the meaning of the hashtag with Sports Illustrated.

Charlie is not listed as a Greyson ambassador on the brand’s website, but the company posted several photos of him wearing the apparel.

Tiger Woods is a proud father as he gets ready to compete alongside his son Charlie in an Orlando, FL golf tournament on Saturday.

Tiger, 47, and Charlie, 14, hit the golf course on Friday morning for a practice run while preparing for the PNC Championship’s Pro-Am event at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.

And in a video shared by the PGA Tour’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the legendary golfer is seen admiring his son’s skills during their morning practice.

After Charlie’s impressive shot, Tiger decided the duo would end their warmup round on a high note.

“We’re ending on that one right there. That was f—ing nasty,” Tiger said in the video.

According to Golf Digest, Tiger couldn’t stop smiling while practicing with his son, who he welcomed with ex-wife Elin Nordegren in 2009, and the duo enjoyed catching up with some of the golfer’s old friends on the course during their morning outing.

The outlet reported that Tiger exchanged “bear hugs” with Annika Sorenstam, Steve Stricker and Mark O’Meara while out with Charlie, and the group’s spirits were high during the reunions.

Charlie and Tiger will face Justin Thomas and his father Mike in the first two rounds of the tournament, teeing off at 8:22 a.m. on Saturday in Orlando, Florida.

This will mark the fourth year Charlie and Tiger have faced the Thomases, and in 2021, Tiger said the two father-son duos “have become so close that I think Charlie’s like Justin’s little brother he never had,” in an interview with the PGA.

And when Justin and Mike won the competition in 2020, they enjoyed a petty victory lap over Charlie and Tiger. According to the PGA, the Thomases wore their victory belts over to Tiger’s home for Christmas dinner.

“We enjoyed that,” Justin said at the time, per the PGA. “Until they get that belt and we don’t, I know that we have the forever bragging rights for the time being.”

In November, Charlie competed in his first-ever high school state golf tournament, and helped lead the Palm Beach Gardens team to their fourth state title.

ever had,” Woods added at the time.

After a competition earlier this year in which Tiger served as a caddy for his son, Charlie said in a post round interview that it was “great” to have his father supporting him on the golf course.

“We just stay in our own little world,” he said about his dad joining him.

“We take it one shot at a time,” Charlie continued, adding that his dad “puts me in my place” from time to time. “I’ll talk about the next tee shot and he’s like, ‘No. This is the shot we’re going to focus on. Focus up. This is what we’re gonna do.’ ”
