Hall of Famer Tim Bradley has an extremely confident pick for a prime versus prime fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Terence Crawford.

‘Bud’ Crawford became two-time undisputed last year with an impressive stoppage of previously undefeated Errol Spence Jr. He will now make the move to 154 to challenge for two belts against Israil Madrimov on August 3.

Mayweather won 15 world title in four different weight classes. Almost defensively flawless, ‘Money’ changed the landscape of boxing and was the most successful pay-per-view star the sport has ever seen.

Since the pair crossed over weight classes, there’s no doubt that a fantasy fight is high on the lists of fans who like to play cross-generational matchmaking.

Speaking to FightHype, Bradley backed Crawford and gave his reasons.

After Crawford looks for success in a fourth weight class – a fight Bradley of course backs him to win – he’s expected to continue calling out a former Mayweather opponent in Saul ‘Canelo‘ Alvarez.

On the occasion of his annual world tour, Floyd Mayweather visited Dubai having explored India, Israel, and Greece among other countries. In this connection, for the last few weeks, Mayweather posted several videos and photos of himself in Dubai. At this, while ‘TBE’ looked like he enjoyed his vacation, last week, Gervonta Davis took the boxing world by storm when he alleged that Floyd Mayweather could not leave Dubai, failing to pay some people the money he owed them.

N***a say all this bullsh*t but in Dubai and can’t leave because he been taking money and not doing what they paid him to do,” claimed Gervonta Davis. Therefore, in sharp contrast with videos of a happy Mayweather driving a yacht and even punching a giant statue of a panda at the Dubai Mall Chinatown, Davis’ unprecedented comments raised eyebrows. However, as per the latest updates, Mayweather left Dubai and helped homeless men in Los Angeles.

Amidst the rumors of Mayweather’s detainment in Dubai, the 50-0 boxer attended Game 5 between LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles. However, prior to watching the game live where the Mavericks beat the Clippers by thirty points, in a random act of kindness, Mayweather donated $30,000 to homeless men in LA.

Later, one of the men identified as Reynolds, who was interviewed by TMZ Sports, said, “I don’t want to show my face, but [Floyd] just gave us $30,000.” And as they don’t feel safe with such a huge amount on the streets, the homeless men hoped to rent themselves a motel. Anyway, after the news appeared on Reddit, several fans hilariously reacted to it.

After TMZ Sports reported the news, a fan regretted using social media as it spreads fake news all the time. “I am thinking Floyd was trapped in Dubai. Social media is a scary place,” they wrote.

Gervonta Davis has had enough of Mayweather.

Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Floyd Mayweather seem to have some new beef between them. In the past, Davis was a sort of protege to Mayweather, with the two having a mentor-mentee relationship. Their relationship started to fracture after Tank started winning titles back in 2017. In 2022, Davis left Mayweather’s fight promotion company, striking out on his own. During Tank’s training for his fight against Ryan Garcia, he alleged that Mayweather kicked him out of his gym. he asserted that Mayweather attempted to keep him from training for the fight effectively. Now Tank has responded to a recent Mayweather video, officially calling the boxing legend out.

This morning, Tank responded to Mayweather with some pointed words. Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to beef. This week, he had a heated argument with Devin Haney’s father. Mayweather came under fire from Haney’s camp after he called and congratulated Ryan Garcia on his win over Devin Haney. Haney’s dad called him out for a lack of loyalty. Gervonta Davis has now called out Floyd and has alleged similar instances of disloyalty that he has shown over the years.

Gervonta Davis has reignited his feud with former friend Floyd Mayweather by claiming that the unbeaten boxing superstar is currently unable to leave Dubai due to a botched business deal. For much of his early career, Davis was the crown jewel in Floyd’s Mayweather Promotions stable, but the pair have since become bitter rivals.

Their relationship hit a new low on Friday morning when ‘Tank’ took to social media to claim that Mayweather was effectively being held hostage in the United Arab Emirates.

‘Tank’ claims Floyd can’t leave the country

Posting text over the top of a video of Mayweather bragging about the sacrifices he had made to get to the top, Davis wrote the following:

Davis continued: “He has to pay them people back. If I’m lying, tell him to go live right now. He’s been stuck over there for a minute, too.” As of yet, Mayweather hasn’t responded to his rival’s taunts, suggesting that there could be some truth to the allegations.

After retiring from professional boxing after his August 2017 knockout of Conor McGregor, Mayweather has competed in a number of exhibition fights – several of which have taken place in Dubai. Indicating that Floyd has had money problems in the country, YouTube boxer Deji revealed that he had experienced problems getting paid by Mayweather’s partners after their November 2022 exhibition fight in Dubai.

Deji said that Mayweather was given a significantly bigger fee for his involvement in the fight as he explained: “They still owe me money, actually. I enjoyed sharing the ring with Floyd Mayweather and that’s enough payment in itself”. The matter was seemingly resolved after Deji went public with his issues. Now Davis claims that Floyd has yet more controversy to deal with.

Davis and Mayweather have a relationship that stretches back to 2015 when the two met through Davis’ promotor Al Haymon. Davis joined Mayweather Promotions later that same year – with Floyd helping guide him to a fantastic record of 26 fights undefeated. Davis left the company last year and – at the time – called his former boss “the best boxer ever”.

Cracks began to appear in their relationship last year when Davis accused Mayweather on social media of preventing him from working out in his gym ahead of his fight with Ryan Garcia. This latest fanning of the flames will do nothing to repair the friendship between the pair and may even lead to more issues in the future

After Floyd Mayweather agreed to fight Logan Paul on June 6, 2021, at the Hard Rock Stadium, ‘The Maverick’ took to X and declared his mother was “terrified.” However, besides being 19 years younger than Mayweather, Paul had a six-inch reach advantage against ‘TBE’. But, while Mayweather had 50 pro wins, Paul had only two matches against fellow influencer KSI. Hence, when the duo stepped inside the ring, Mayweather out-landed Paul by 27.3%. But, in a recent interview, Paul claimed Mayweather was “beatable“!

However, when Paul was asked to replace a fighter Mayweather was going to face on top of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai on six weeks’ notice, ‘The Maverick’ also rejected the offer. Now, in light of this incident, Logan Paul revealed why he agreed to fight Mayweather in 2021. Here is what he said.

Only force that motivated Logan Paul to risk everything against Mayweather

Although no winner was announced, ESPN had scored Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather 78-74 for ‘TBE’. Meanwhile, after the match, Logan Paul claimed that Mayweather had not paid him for the contest. Therefore, although Paul stated he could beat the 50-0 boxer in a rematch, he felt he had a “bigger fish to fry“. Anyway, speaking to Graham Bensinger, Paul said “respect” motivated the WWE wrestler to agree to a boxing match against the boxer who held 15 major world championships

I think there’s a video of my initial reaction somewhere. And I just remember thinking ‘If I can just survive with this guy, my life will be drastically different forever’. I think my whole life I’ve craved respect,” said Logan Paul.

And I don’t feel like I got that respect that I wanted from making media online. And I knew that if I could weather eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather, you’d have to respect me. You may not like me, but you have to respect me,” added ‘The Maverick’.

In this connection, it is worth mentioning that in the same interview, Paul said he would only rematch ‘TBE’ to beat him. “I already fought Floyd Mayweather. If I did it again, it would be to beat Floyd Mayweather. Which I think is doable, I just need to train proper,” he had said.

Anyway, do you think Logan Paul surviving eight rounds against Mayweather is commendable? In your opinion, can Paul defeat Mayweather should they agree to a rematch? Let us know in the comments below.

We are all familiar with Floyd Mayweather Jr’s lavish lifestyle and how he spends his millions for the world to see. There have been times in which he makes million-dollar bets on other sporting events and cashes out on them without a problem. Other times have been for the strip clubs, which Floyd Mayweather is a massive fan of. But the boxing legend decided to involve his family on the latest display of wealth, specifically his daughter who accompanied him on a trip to Iceland. In one of his stories, Floyd specified how his daughter Jirah Mayweather is well-accustomed to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to his teachings.

In a different post, Floyd also showed the incredible setting within the luxurious resort in which he and his family stayed for this trip. A four-video post was more than enough for the world to see how beautiful this spot is and Floyd enjoying hte thermal lake. Famous for it’s volcano activity, Iceland is also the most important spot in the world for hot springs. There are multiple resorst across the country where people visit this place to take a hot bath alongside their loved ones. Floyd didn’t want to miss the opportunity to spend some time here with his family and share a post with the following caption: “The Iceman in Iceland.”

Is Floyd Mayweather fighting again soon?

Although he is now retired from professional boxing, Floyd Mayweather has remained active in the celebrity boxing circuit. He has fought the likes of Logan Paul and other less known rivals. Folks still pay good money to watch the undefeated champion fight just about anybody. As far as his next opponent, he recently confirmed he wants to run it back with John Gotti after the chaotic manner in which the fight ended. However, Manny Pacquiao recently got in the way of that to tease a potential fight against ‘Money’. Who would you like to see Mayweather fight next.

Floyd Mayweather likes to keep his eye on goings on in the boxing world and has spoken about a potential shock opponent for current pound-for-pound star Terrence Crawford.

Crawford is currently looking for his next opponent and suggestions have ranged from Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez who is most likely too large for any serious negotiations, to young contender Jaron ‘Boots ‘Ennis.

Last time out ‘Bud’ impressively defeated Errol Spence Jr in July to lift all four of the major world welterweight titles. That made him undisputed in a second division and was a performance that drew widespread praise from across the boxing world and beyond.

It was recently revealed that Crawford, who has fought on Top Rank and PBC in recent years and this week broke down the fight between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia, is now a promotional free agent which somewhat gives him room to fight who he wants to fight.

Now, Speaking to FightHype, former pound-for-pound king and multi-weight world champion Mayweather has spoken about who he thinks ‘Bud’ should fight.

Benavidez has recently revealed he is moving up for a shot at an interim world light heavyweight title so it seems hugely unlikely that these two will ever square up in the ring like Mayweather suggested.

50 Cent has called out Floyd Mayweather for his comments about Diddy‘s sexual assault allegations.

The retired boxer appeared on The Pivot Podcast earlier this week where he refused to condemn the Bad Boy boss over accusations he raped four woman, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

“I’m not gonna speak bad about P. Diddy,” Mayweather said. “‘Cause he still a Black man. Mistakes happen. And I can’t say if it is or not a mistake, but things happen in life. And P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job or anybody else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down.

“My take on it is: it’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all and I don’t condone it. Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt but that’s a choice that my daughter made.”

In an Instagram post on Wednesday (February 21), 50 shared a video of Mayweather’s comments and took aim at his long-running rival.

He wrote: “[palm on face emoji] they didn’t even ask him about this, Champ is you stupid or is you dumb? Get me the fuck out ya head, you sound like a hater. DIDDY DO IT ? COMING soon.”

Diddy has been accused of several instances of sexual assault since November of last year, all of which he has vehemently denied.

He quickly settled the lawsuit filed against him by Cassie but is still facing three suits in the state of New York.

50 Cent has been relentlessly trolling the Harlem-bred hitmaker ever since, even teasing a Surviving R. Kelly-esque docuseries about the allegations.

After former Bad Boy president Harve Pierre was sued for alleged sexual assault — an incident which didn’t involve Diddy — Fif wrote on Instagram: “Told you they was coming, in 5,4,3,2,1 SMH. This is a movie (SURVIVING P DIDDY) OR (DIDDY, DO IT OR NOT) executive produced by Curtis 50cent Jackson coming soon!”

He also jokingly offered to buy the media network REVOLT from Puff after he stepped down as chairman in wake of the lawsuits.

The rapper born Curtis Jackson also has a history of taking shots at Floyd Mayweather. 50 spent many years ridiculing the boxer’s reading abilities, including in 2014 when he challenged the undefeated champ to read a page out of a Harry Potter book.

“Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE,” he wrote at the time. “I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or fucking up. lmao.”

The pair previously squashed their beef in 2022, but it appears their relationship has since soured.

Nobody quite knows how to throw a party like Floyd Mayweather! And when it’s his own birthday, the celebration reaches a whole new level, something the richest boxer in the world proved Thursday night. However, the highlight of the show was when the now 47-year-old retired champion received a $150K watch!

The night of celebrations and laughter went down at Swan Restaurant in Maimi. The five-division champion completed yet another trip around the sun on Saturday night. And to celebrate this day, he did not leave any stone unturned. Here’s a look inside his spectacular birthday bash, filled with Karaoke, food, and more.

Who gifted Floyd Mayweather the $150K watch?

Yesterday, TMZ Sports reported that ‘Money’ Mayweather hosted no less than 150 of his closest friends at the party. Notably, the guest list included Nicky Jam and other big names, who Mayweather flew into town and had them staying in luxury hotels. Meanwhile, during the party, guests got to indulge in culinary delight!

It boasted an array of culinary options, from mouth-watering pizzas to expensive wagyu beef and even delectable truffles; the menu left nothing to be desired. However, Avi Hiaeve of Avi & Co. caught everyone by surprise when they gifted the boxing legend with a $150k watch. It was made with, as one would guess, 18-karat gold and 29.3 carats of diamond.

What’s more, the party isn’t over yet! The Thursday night party was just the tip of the iceberg. According to TMZ Sports, ‘Money’ Mayweather started celebrations on Wednesday with Rick Ross and has multiple such parties planned in the Miami area through Monday. That aside, the $150K watch is impressive, but Floyd Mayweather has given away much more expensive watches in the past.

Mayweather gifts his friend $250K watch

Back in May 2023, Floyd Mayweather gifted his friend Shuki Diamonds a $250K custom timepiece. Shuki is Mayweather’s long-time friend and his jeweler, who has hooked him up with several mindblowing jewelry. However, it was Mayweather’s turn to give! In a video shared by TMZ Sports, Mayweather presented his friend with the gift.

“The Money Man is back. I’m right here with my main man, Shuki. We in L.A., ballin’ out. This watch right here is going to Shuki. One of my custom pieces. Money Man, y’all know the rest,” said Mayweather. He, of course, owns an impressive collection of watches that include JACOB & CO. BILLIONAIRE III worth $18 million.

As the richest boxer turned 47, he proved he is befitting his moniker of ‘Money’ by throwing one of the most lavish parties in town. Hopefully, he will get to celebrate many more such occasions. Until then – what did you think about the $150K watch?

Can strength find solace in tears? Floyd Mayweather, a titan in the ring, recently revealed a different battle. It’s one fought in the heart, mourning the loss of Marikit ‘Kitchie’ Laurico. Laurico wasn’t just an assistant to Mayweather. She was a beacon of positivity, a friend whose smile lit up challenges. Claressa Shields, another boxing legend, echoed this sentiment.

She shared glimpses of Laurico’s spirit, but not all. What did Shields say that resonated so deeply? Laurico’s legacy defies the odds, showing even the toughest warriors have tender tales.

Claressa Shields shares the unseen impact of “Kitchie”

In an emotional turn of events, Floyd Mayweather opened up on The Pivot Podcast about losing Marikit Laurico, his beloved assistant and confidante, in March 2023. Laurico, aged 47, was more than an employee; she was a pivotal figure in Mayweather’s life, known for her unwavering positivity and support. Following Mayweather’s heartfelt revelation, Claressa Shields took to Twitter, sharing her own experiences with Laurico. “I had an opportunity to meet Kitchie and have a few convos with her in Dubai! And everything Floyd is saying is true, she was so kind, so happy, so positive, Rest her beautiful soul.”

This tweet not only validated Mayweather’s sentiments but also highlighted Laurico’s impact on those around her.
