With four Olympic gold medals to her name, Simone Biles is easily one of the most decorated figures of the sport. And yet, despite her iconic status, Biles is never shy to extend support to others to give them the platform toward greatness. Now, as the Gold Over America Tour looks to inspire more future gymnastics stars of the country, Biles once again has become the voice of enthusiasm as high-flying action awaits to take over the nation.

The one-of-kind event will return after a gap of three years and will be visiting 30 arenas across the US with hopes of bringing future Olympians to the fold. With the Olympics only months away, the Gold Over America Tour might be just the thing Biles needs to get her head back into the game.

Simone Biles executing her supporter duties

In her recent Instagram story, Biles shared the Gold Over America Tour’s reel to celebrate the young ones who have found their inkling for her beloved sport. Only a week ago, Biles was revealed to be joining the likes of Shilese Jones to bring the spectacle that is Gold Over America to the USA’s gymnastics fans. Along with showcasing world-class gymnastics, the tournament will also highlight the importance of mental health, and Biles has a few things to share of her own considering how in 2021 she opted out of the Olympics finals to focus on her well-being.

The story depicts a group of energetic kids, each bursting with enthusiasm and eager to embark on their own gymnastics journey, learning from the nation’s best gymnasts. The enthusiastic children can be seen grinning broadly as they take their first steps toward artistic gymnastics immortality. Accompanied by a number of emojis, Biles’ caption hints at big things on the horizon, promising to enthrall fans.

A few teenage gymnasts can also be spotted in the crowd as they do their best to make the learning experience a fun one for the others. As Biles continues to exude her elite status, the Gold Over America tour should be just the thing to inject some extra confidence into her system.

The Olympics are calling and Biles is itching to answer

Simone Biles’ breathtaking display at the 2023 World Championships won her four gold medals including one for the All-Around performance. The same tournament also bagged her another “World Comeback of the Year” nomination at the Laureus World Sports Awards, offering her fans another chance to celebrate her legacy. While Biles chose to watch the recently concluded 2024 Winter Cup from the sidelines, her fixation on the Olympics remains as resolute as ever. Biles also recently spent a much-needed vacation time with husband Jonathan Owens to get back her composure before starting the long walk on the road to Paris.

She’s the most decorated American gymnast in history and she’s coming to Michigan to perform in 2024. Simone Biles, who has the most World gold medals (30) and the most World all-around titles (6) in women’s competition, will be at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Sunday, November 3.

Her appearance is part of the “Gold Over America” tour, which will visit more than 30 U.S. arenas this fall. Along with Biles, world-class gymnasts Shilese Jones, Fred Richard, Mélanie Johanna De Jesus Dos Santos and more will also be performing.

Simone Biles is speaking out.

On Saturday, the Olympic gymnast, 26, appeared to react again to criticism her husband Jonathan Owens received this week for saying he considered himself the “catch” in their relationship, during an appearance the couple made on The Pivot podcast, hosted by Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder.

Posting a photo of a confused-looking child scratching their head on X (formerly known as Twitter), she added a question to followers in the caption.

“Are y’all done yet?” Biles wrote alongside the photo.

Her post — which she also shared on her Instagram Story — comes after both she and Owens, 28, seemed to respond on Friday to backlash against the Greenbay Packers safety for his comments on the podcast.

Criticism of Owens was centered around a point in the conversation where Crowder asked him, “How in the hell did you pull Simone Biles?”

The NFL player responded “It’s really how she pulled me, man, that’s the question,” and recounted how he had not initially known who Biles was and explained why.

“When she won the Olympics, I was in college and we didn’t have NBC, we didn’t have Olympics channels, and we were in [training] camp [in] late July, early August,” he told Crowder, adding, “So I’m not paying attention. I never would’ve had a moment where I would’ve watched [her compete].”

Owens then detailed how the decorated gymnast messaged him first on a dating app and that the pair were “texting back and forth” before they met up three days later.

When the NFL star was asked if he considered himself the “catch” in his relationship with Biles, he explained that, “I always say that the men are the catch.”

He then said that he had been “afraid to commit” because of where he was in life at the time, adding, “I’m like, ‘It’s kinda early.’”

“But you know, it happens when you least expect it. When we hung out, we just hit it off instantly. Laughed the whole night,” he continued, before explaining that he realized how successful Biles was when he saw how fans reacted to her.

After the podcast aired, Owens received backlash for what he had said. However, his apparent response on Instagram indicated that he wasn’t taking it to heart.

“Unbothered 😂❤️ Just know we locked in over here 🤞🏽,” he wrote alongside a series of photographs of himself and Biles on Friday, including shots of them posing together and sweet moments from their wedding day.

“🤞🏾💋 for life,” Biles wrote in the comments section of the post, before sharing it on her Instagram Story.

She also shared a photo of the couple on their wedding day on her Instagram, with the simple caption, “mood.”

Biles and Owens first met on the dating app Raya in 2020 and tied the knot in April 2023 during an intimate courthouse ceremony. The new husband and wife then celebrated with a second wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the following month.

In 2021, Biles told PEOPLE  that the pair are always able to rely on each other for support.

“Oh, he’s always so supportive,” she said of her husband. “Even if I wake up in the morning and I’m like, ‘I’m tired, do I have to go,’ jokingly, he’s like ‘Don’t say that! You can do it, this is your dream!'”

Acouple of photos of Simone Biles are causing a stir on social networks. As soon as the Olympic champion shared the images of her recent visit to MetLife Stadium on Monday, December 11, Internet users flocked to congratulate her on her pregnancy.

Among the reactions, one Instagram user commented, “picture is sending baby vibes,” while another was more direct and said, “baby on board,” and someone else shouted, “Beautiful!! I see a lil bump!!”

Some still gave the gymnast the benefit of the doubt: “Is she expecting? I’m so happy for them,”“Is that a little baby bump there?”

In the images, Biles poses in the stadium stands with the field behind her, where the Green Bay Packers visited the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The game ended with a 24-22 victory for the locals.

The Olympic medalist is wearing a purple onesie with a military-print jacket and a black beanie with the number 34, the same one worn by her husband, Packers safety Jonathan Owens.

Biles puts a stop to speculation

The storm on her Instagram account was such that Simone had to come out to clarify her condition through a new post on her Instagram Story.

“I hate that I even have to address this,” the gymnast began, “but please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant,'” she clarified, referring to the photos she originally shared.

“I’m not pregnant,” Biles said, trying to stop speculation.

It is worth remembering that Biles and Owens were legally married in a courthouse in April, and a month later, they held a lavish ceremony for friends and family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Fans came to Simone’s defense

After the barrage of comments assuming Biles’ pregnancy, some more moderate users rushed to defend her.

“Why are y’all thinking she’s pregnant ?? She’s literally competing in the Olympics, so I doubt she’s thinking about having a baby rn ??” pointed out one user.

“It is so incredibly rude to assume a woman is pregnant without her mentioning it. We only see what she chooses to post. You have no idea what may be going on in someone’s life,” someone else said.

The comments did not stop and so far, the publication has accumulated more than 140,000 “likes” and 584 comments.

“I hope she’s happy. No one ever knows what’s going on in relationships, but she is the catch,” the panelist said.

Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens’ recent comments about his relationship with wife Simone Biles did not score perfect 10s from the ladies of The View.

Owens sparked heavy backlash on social media last month after he revealed on the Pivot podcast that he’d never heard of Biles — one of the most decorated gymnasts in history — prior to matching with her on the dating app Raya in 2020. When the interviewer suggested that he was the “catch” in their relationship, the NFL star drew further outrage online by responding, “I always say the men are the catch.”

Sunny Hostin opened up the table’s conversation by promptly setting the record straight. “He knew who she was. She was on a Wheaties box,” she said. “Everybody knows who Simone Biles is. I don’t know who he is.”

The part that got me is when he says, ‘I always think the man is the catch,’” Sara Haines interjected. “Have you met other men, and are you listening to yourself right now? I cannot believe.”

“I want more for her,” Hostin added. “I hope she’s happy. No one ever knows what’s going on in relationships, but she is the catch.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin took a moment to defend the “very beautiful and adorable couple,” who tied the knot in 2023, from her costars. “She is the greatest of all time so he should’ve known,” she acknowledged, “but I give him some grace.”

Haines noted, however, that Biles’ popularity transcends both the Olympics and her sport. “And the other thing is gymnastics is much harder,” she said. “No shade to football players, ‘cause here it comes, but football players run into each other. You bang into each other, you throw a ball, you hope you catch it — gymnasts do things with their body that is muscles from their fingertips all the way down to their toes.”

“I’d like to see that man try any of that,” she continued. “Because she said she did football pre-training, she killed it. He tried one of her workouts and couldn’t do it. Case is settled. Boom boom!”

Hostin further explained that she has “trouble with a man who can’t let his spouse or partner shine” in their relationship. Whoopi Goldberg then asked her to “change the phraseology” of the sentence surrounding the word “letting” when it comes to a relationship.

“He’s not letting her do [anything],” Goldberg said, “she does what she does.”

“Like Steve and I compete over who’s gonna fall asleep first,” Joy Behar joked, referring to her husband of 12 years. “New Year’s Eve, we were out by 10 o’clock.”

Still, Griffin said that she believed that Owens was “being playful” with his comment about men always being the catch in a relationship. “If you watch them together, he treats her like a queen. He is obsessed with her,” she emphasized. “He realized that he did get the greatest of all time and she’s amazing and I think he actually does treat her super well. I root for this one.”

Simone Biles is modeling workout gear. In a new social media post, the gymnast shows off her amazing body while modeling her favorite Athleta pieces. She shared the Instagram video during her luxurious getaway to Hawaii with husband Jonathan Owens. How does the athlete maintain her amazing body? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits, including her approach to mental and physical health.

1Mental Health

Simone Biles

“I’ve always been in therapy [and] I’ve always been an advocate for medicine,” Biles told Vanity Fair. “If you need an inhaler, take it. If you have anxiety, take it. I’m no stranger to medicine.” Years ago Biles was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety, and she continues to take the medication today.

Simone fills her plate with lean protein and lots of fiber. For breakfast she has Kellogg’s Red Berries or egg whites. Lunch, “is either chicken or fish so I get the protein,” she told Women’s Health. Next up, a “quick snack” before another workout. “Pre-workout I love drinking Core Power; it’s a recovery drink. And then a banana and peanut butter because bananas have potassium, which helps with muscle cramps.” “And then,” for dinner, “I like having a good fish, like salmon, and rice and carrots.”

3Cross Training Workouts

“We swam twice a week—almost a mile! I swore I was going to drown, it was so hard, and then we would run. And the year before that we would bike 10 miles outside once a week. If we didn’t bike, we would run a mile before practice, and as soon as we finished the mile we’d have to go inside and do a beam routine. My legs were absolute jello. But it got easier because the cross-training helped. This year we haven’t done [cross-training] because we’re just calming it down,” she told Women’s Health about what her exercise session consists of.

4Strength Training

Simone Biles’ latest social media post has once again become subject to outlandish pregnancy rumors.

After the 26-year-old “cleared her camera roll” by posting a new series of vacation photos from her and husband Jonathan Owens‘ recent trip to Hawaii, many of the star’s followers were forced to defend her from comments targeted at her physique, suggesting she could be expecting.

“I see a baby bump ❤️❤️,” one Instagram user replied to the photo book before another added, “I see a baby bump 👀.”

“Pregnant 👀,” a third wrote.

The comments didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans, who quickly defended Biles.

“Paris Olympics are this summer. This is so wrong to comment on her body,” one top-liked comment read.

“I see strong abs,” a second shared before someone else similarly wrote, “It’s literally her rock hard abs ☠️.”

“TF look at the pics she posted like two days ago in a bikini,” a different user clapped back. “Your girl isn’t pregnant.”

“Things to never say about another woman’s body,” a fifth suggested.

The Olympic gymnast previously denied similar claims in December 2023 and shared a direct message about the widespread pregnancy speculation in a now-deleted Instagram Story.

“I hate that I even have to address this,” she wrote at the time. “But please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant.'”

The photo she referred to was posted to her Instagram grid the day prior. It showed Biles posing at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium while cheering on her husband—who is a strong safety for Wisconsin’s Green Bay Packers—during the team’s game against the New York Giants.

Owens, whom Biles married last year, also commented on the post, opting to ignore the rude comments and simply share a pair of green and yellow heart emojis. “💚💛.”

We all know that Brody Malone and Simone Biles are two most prominent faces in the world of gymnastics. But little did we know that these two had to travel a lot before reaching their glory. The path to ‘gold’ was never easy for them. However, in his recent match, Malone stunned the crowd with a breathtaking performance on the Parallel Bars after his return from injury with an astounding score of 14.850. Malone had once withdrawn his name from the Olympics due to his mental health issue, just like Biles.

In a chilling revelation, US gymnast Brody Malone recounted the harrowing experience of witnessing Simone Biles struggle with the dangerous phenomenon known as the “twisties”. Malone’s insights shed light on the gravity of the situation faced by Biles and the potential risks associated with this phenomenon, highlighting the importance of athlete safety in the high-stakes world of gymnastics.

Witnessing the twisties: Brody Malone’s perspective on Simone Biles

As an esteemed gymnast himself, Malone’s firsthand account offers a unique glimpse into the reality of the twisties, a phenomenon characterized by a disconnect between the mind and body during complex aerial maneuvers, which he calls “really dangerous.” Malone’s recollection underscores the sheer terror and helplessness experienced by both athletes and spectators alike when faced with this daunting challenge. John Shibley hosted a podcast Last In Line in which Brody Malone shared some unknown insights that led the gold medalist Simone Biles to withdraw her name from the Olympic race.

According to him, Simone Biles lost her connection between mind and body during her landing which made her fall and left with an injury. Malone revealed that he was present at the stands and watched Biles’ vault warm up for the team finals. “And she does a one and a half bails out, it was kind of obvious that she was getting lost in the air”, Malone stated in the podcast.  Malone also mentioned that Biles seemed to be struggling to find the right rhythm and was not comfortable in the air. He also stated that he was surprised to see Biles compete in the team finals.

The perils of the twisties: Malon’s dangerous reality check

Malone’s remarks serve as a stark reminder of the inherent risks associated with the sport of gymnastics. The twisties not only pose a significant threat to the physical well-being of athletes but also carry profound implications for their mental and emotional health. As Biles’ courageous decision to prioritize her safety over competition demonstrates, navigating the complexities of the twisties requires immense courage and self-awareness.

In the wake of Simone Biles’ courageous decision to withdraw from certain Olympic events due to the twisties, Brody Malone’s poignant reflections offer valuable insights into the challenges faced by elite gymnasts. As the gymnastics community continues to grapple with the implications of this phenomenon, Malone’s words serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of prioritizing athlete safety above all else.

Simone Biles commands a formidable presence in the realm of gymnastics and is celebrated for her unmatched accomplishments and revolutionary routines. Boasting an unprecedented six All-Around World Championship titles and an astonishing tally of 37 medals—23 of which are gold—she solidifies her status as the most decorated gymnast in the annals of World Championships history.

Beyond the confines of the gym, Simone Biles extends her influence well beyond athletic prowess. Her impact reverberates across society, underscored by her distinguished accolades such as the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She’s been heralded on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People and Forbes’ 30 Under 30 lists. However, this year, despite her absence from performances like the Winter Cup as she prepares for the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles remains a beacon of influence. With anticipation building, her upcoming debut on this season’s tour promises to captivate audiences once again.

Simone Biles headlines the most epic tour yet

The Gold Over America Tour, alternatively known as Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, returns with a thrilling addition: Simone Biles takes centre stage as the headline act. This highly anticipated tour aims to convey a powerful yet simple message: even the most celebrated athletes, like Biles, are everyday individuals. Alongside Biles, other renowned gymnasts such as Shilese Jones, Fred Richard, Melanie Johanna de Jesus dos Santos, and more will join forces.

Following the resounding success of its 2021 iteration, the 2024 Gold Over America Tour embarks on a mission to embody themes of hope, strength, resilience and determination. This year’s tour doubles down on its commitment to mental health awareness, an issue Biles has been vocal about. Notably, this tour isn’t Biles’ first; she graced its stages in 2021, actively demonstrating her dedication to both the sport and the cause. But when and across how many countries this inspiring tour will unfold?

The Gold Tour: A catalyst for gymnasts the world over

Gold Over America Tour will visit 30 cities nationwide. Also, it promises an exhilarating pop concert-style experience that’s brimming with energy and action. As the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris conclude, where Simone Biles will compete as a key player, the tour emerges as a thrilling extension of the Olympic spirit.

This “road to Paris” will notably pass through Fort Worth from May 30 to June 2, during the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships at Dickies Arena. As tickets go on sale, this event is not just a showcase of gymnastic prowess but also a pivotal moment to crown national champions.

The Laureus World Sports Awards have returned for another iteration. American gymnastics superstar Simone Biles has unsurprisingly made it to the nominees of the awards list once again. After all, the 26-year-old reemerged from a two-year-long hiatus and straightaway won another world championship all-around gold.

Owing to this stellar revival, Simone Biles has been nominated for the ‘World Comeback of The Year’ Award. This moved the gymnastics GOAT to write a heartfelt message for all her supporters and well-wishers who stood by her side. Reflecting her love for them, Biles added a new story on Instagram and showered her appreciation.

She wrote, “I’m always speechless about these nominations 😭🥹🤍. My sincerest gratitude for everyone who has supported me & continues to support my journey & dream💋💋💋💋💋.” The emojis suggest that the mighty Olympian was moved to tears because of this.

This award means a lot to Simone Biles. All the glorious conversation around her got polluted with the conversation of her twisties. Moreover, many even said that the elite gymnast was turning her back on her country and wasn’t a true patriot. But, her loyal fans didn’t let her reputation get tarnished and have been cheering harder right from Biles’ US Classic return.

Notably, Biles has already won the Laureus World Awards thrice thanks to her abilities and her fanbase. While Biles is reaping the benefits of her efforts in Antwerp, she is also enjoying a vacation. In fact, her latest post suggests that she doesn’t want to come back anytime soon.

When Simone Biles turned her vacation into a staycation

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are on a romantic getaway in Hawaii. The couple had made landfall on the lush islands to attend the wedding of a friend. But now, both of them can’t have enough of the beautiful gifts Hawaii has to offer. Biles especially is fully mesmerized by the Hawaii experience and has added several posts of her holiday.

The latest Simone Biles post showcased her with a surfboard suggesting that the gymnast is in the mood of riding the waves. However, her caption said that she canceled her return ticket back home. This comes in addition to a previous post where she said that she was looking for a realtor. Does this mean that the Olympic champ will make a new home in Hawaii? Or will she just make it her holiday destination?
