Simone Biles’ new home with husband Jonathan Owens is getting closer to completion!

On Saturday, the Olympic gold medalist 26, gave an update on the progress of the house she and husband Owens, 26, are having built in Texas, sharing photos and clips on her Instagram Story showing the exterior, kitchen and a huge walk-in closet.

An Instagram Story photo captioned “house updates,” showed the front of Biles’ new house with scaffolding set up and large boxes labeled “cultured stone” laid out on the ground in front.

“Stucco is happening 🤯👏🏾😍,” Biles added in the caption, referring to the cement mixture being applied to the exterior of the house.

The next snap showed the stone-laying process for an exterior wall, as one side of Biles’ house was pictured partially covered with the building materials.

“This stone is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!” the athlete wrote in reaction to the walls in a second caption.

Biles also revealed her new kitchen in further footage, which showed a space with wooden cabinets installed and an unpainted ceiling and walls. As well as close-ups of the kitchen, the gymnast also posted a wider shot that appeared to show that the kitchen sits off a much larger space with high ceilings, possibly a dining room.

Finally, Biles showed off what is set to be her walk-in closet in her home in a clip of a large room with an open closet and plenty of storage, including drawers, shelves and areas that looked set to have clothes hung in them.

“I. AM. OBSESSED,” the sports champion said of her impending new room. “I’ll never run out of room for clothes,” she added.

Biles’ house update comes after celebrating the progress on her home build with a series of posts in December. At the time, Biles posted more construction photos of the beginnings of a laundry room with sliding glass doors and drywall at the construction site.

The project update came after she previously hinted at issues with the renovation on social media the month prior.

In November, Biles stated on her Instagram Story that a 30-minute trip to the house ended up being six hours. “I thought it was going to be a 30 minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into,” she explained in one video posted of the home’s high ceilings.

“Called my dad for backup yesterday bc I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress & I’m so proud of myself,” Biles continued. “Jonathan will deal with the end result oops……..I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things.”

Despite previous hiccups, Biles’ latest update appears to show that her and Owens’ new home is on its way to successful completion.

Building a new home comes with not just the physical efforts of overseeing the efforts. It also comes with hundreds of sacrifices and minute decision-making that make the home the perfect dream project. For four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, it’s been a long journey making her beloved mansion in Houston, Texas. While the 2024 Paris Olympics inch closer, Biles is currently in full swing trying to supervise the final touches to her luxury house.

Simone Biles loves sharing updates of her new home with her fans periodically. Now, in her latest post, Biles is once again seen head over heels for how the project’s coming along as she shares more snippets of the building’s inner sanctums.

Simone Biles’ dream project nearing completion

In her latest series of Instagram stories, Biles has given more glimpses of the under-construction building that she hopes to move into soon. Captioned “house updates“, the images look to give Biles’ fans a comprehensive idea about the rooms and the special features. The first image shows a scaffolding at the front of the building along with several gigantic boxes lying around, which we can only imagine store more building materials.

Stucco is happening“, announced an excited Biles in the next image as she failed to contain her glee about the special cement mixture that would adorn the outside walls of her new home. In another image, Biles has shared the stone that’s being used for the construction of the house with the triumphant statement, “this stone is EVERYTHING!!!“.

The Green Bay Packers safety recently returned home to Biles after his team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers during the Jan. 20 face-off.

At the January game, Biles reshared an Instagram reel of the couple sharing a kiss at his game. She then reposted snaps of the two from Owen’s Instagram Story.

“My love,” the football strong safety wrote over a picture of the two opening their arms to hug each other on the football field.

Biles also penned a sweet message to Owens following his impressive season. “It’s been a helluva season & there’s so much to be proud of,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so proud of the work you’ve put in & the confidence you exude throughout your plays.”

She addressed her husband, “I love you Jonathan! another football season happy & healthy in the books 🤞🏾.”

The pair, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2022, first married in a civil ceremony in Houston, followed by a destination wedding in May 2023 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Months after their wedding, in October 2023, Biles shared that marrying Owens had completely shifted her perspective on life.

“Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing,” she said on the Today show. “I don’t feel like it’s the end all be all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that. I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.”

Simone Biles recently organized the successful seventh edition of the Biles International Invitational.

The Invitational was held over the weekend from February 4 to 6, 2024, at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, with more than 3,500 athletes competing in what serves qualifying event for the Nastia Liukin Cup.

Simone Biles

The first edition of the Biles International Invitational was held in 2018 at the World Champions Centre, a training facility established by Biles’ parents for elite gymnasts.

Apart from the qualifying and final rounds, the event also featured an Athletes Glow Party on February 2. The participants got to meet the legendary gymnast along with other elite gymnasts, including Jordan Chiles, Zoe Miller, Joscelyn Roberson, and Tiana Sumanasekera, at an autograph signing session.

Simone Biles took to social media to share the success of the event with her fans. She also expressed her gratitude towards her family and friends, which included her parents, her husband, Jonathan Owens, and her sister, Adria for selflessly volunteering at the event.

Simone Biles came up with many colors in the past week. It framed the 7x Olympic medalist in the US National training camp in Texas. There, Simone Biles pushed her limits by attempting the Amanar move, which she hadn’t done in a long time. Her phantasmagoria went ahead with giving a notion of the same finesse that once kept the fans awestruck. Apart from that, the Simone Biles Invitational claimed a fair share of time last week from the 26-year-old gymnast.

Nurturing a deep root with that Meet, Simone Biles felt ecstatic on social media previously. So when the remembrance dropped again, the legend manifested into being thankful.

Simone Biles goes ahead being humble

The Simone Biles Invitational took place in Texas from February 1 to February 4, 2024. After the conclusion of the event, the 23x world champion gymnast took a moment to express her thankfulness to all the concerned individuals at that meet. Her IG post read, “I want to thank all of the gyms and athletes for coming out to support and congratulate y’all on competing, I hope you had an amazing experience that you will forever cherish”.

The yearly engagement is all meant to give place to all those aspiring gymnasts around the world who are craving a chance. Moreover, on the occasion, Simone Biles personally attends all the young gymnasts with her fervor for nurturing talents. This time, the schedules were also the same, and it went smoothly.

The 4-day gymnastic affair displayed many individuals contributing to the meet. Simone Biles’ parents held a principal part in that. Eventually, the meet itself was a result of Nellie Biles’ unselfish sacrifice in the first place. So, being the daughter of Nellie, Simone held her special gratitude to her parents. She wrote, “I’ve always dreamt of hosting my own competition but never thought it would come to fruition. I feel so blessed to be able to host this competition but I couldn’t do it without all of the love and support.”

Jonathan Owens received his share of gratitude as well, for volunteering in the meet. Apart from that, Jordan Chiles, Joscelyn Roberson, Zoe Miller, and Tiana Sumanasekera received their teammate’s acknowledgment as well for their supporting roles. However, being the newcomer in the meet, Roberson had something to say about that.

The praise coming from the known corners

Being a jubilant platform for budding artistic gymnasts, the Simone Biles Invitational holds the stature of being the qualifying meet for the Nastia Liukin Cup. So after realizing the confluence of chances under one roof, Joscelyn Roberson penned her appreciation on the meet. On IG, she wrote, “I had so much fun this weekend!! Thank you @worldchampionscentre for putting this together”.

Eventually, the recognition made Simone more ecstatic. The reason is that the World Champions Centre is the brainchild of Simone Biles’s parents. Moreover, Simone Biles was all up to provide all the support to the talents to bring them to the fore. So after witnessing another successful year, the gratitude seemed to be pleasant.

Star American gymnast, Simone Biles, has officially tied the knot with her fellow athlete and lover, Jonathan Owens.

The couple made this known by sharing pictures of the private ceremony via their social media accounts on Saturday.

Biles was dressed in a layered, strappy, white wedding gown, while her husband donned on a tan suit as they exchanged vows in a courthouse.

“I do 🤍. Officially Owens,” she wrote. “I never knew a love so deep @jowens.”

Simone Biles

The American football player also took to his Instagram page, where he shared pictures from the event.

“My person, forever ❤💍. #TheOwens #ItsOfficial,” he captioned the post.

Biles told Wall Street Journal that the lovebirds met in March 2020 via a dating app, Raya. They began spending time together during the Covid-19 lockdown, which meant a less hectic schedule for them as athletes.

They went public with their relationship in August 2020, after the gymnast posted a picture of herself cozied up with Owens. A day after 2022’s Valentine’s day, the couple announced they were officially engaged.

Simone Biles is not going to keep any stone unturned while aiming for the Paris Olympics in 2024. On previous notes, the most decorated artistic gymnast repeatedly admitted to her unfinished job at the Olympics. From time to time, that hurried pullout from the Tokyo Olympics gave Simone Biles the lowest feeling ever. Expressing that situation, the 26-year-old legend claimed, “I felt like a failure.” But as a comeback option, she proved to be ready to try her Olympic suit once again. So as a part of the plan, for the last few weeks, Simone Biles kept herself busy in the Simone Biles Invitational.

But soon, concluding that gymnastics camp, the phenom threw herself into the training engagement hosted by the US authority. That unveiled a serious interest from the fans to take a look at Simone’s talent again. The result turned out to be riveting.

Simone Biles displays her national prowess once again

The US National Training Camp in Texas sent a call to the pivotal gymnasts from the country to try their measure under supervision. This time, the role of keeping supervision went to former Olympic champion gymnast Carly Patterson. Being a strict follower of routines, Simone Biles didn’t obliterate her gymnastic flips as well on Monday. In a thorough showcase of sporting abilities, the seven-time Olympic medalist took up the vault drill, especially the Amanar. Soon, in an ethereal display of prowess, Simone Biles wrapped up the drill with a smooth landing. Spot Gym’s X-post captured the lively framing of that aerial flipping. Fitting with that performance, the caption of the post went, “Magnificent Amanar by Simone Biles at the US National Camp.”

Moreover, on Monday, Simone displayed her natural moves in the rotations on uneven bars. Nevertheless, the Amanar Vault (named after Simona Amanar) attracted many more highlights for unavoidable reasons. In 2023, the former world champion wasn’t ready to try that drill. Meanwhile, in the Tokyo Olympics team final, that vault resulted in her twisties. That memory was still fresh in the athlete’s memory for a longer period of time. But the visuals from Monday proved Simone Biles’s upper hand in the situation.

The thorough improvement hoping for a better return

In the Tokyo Olympics, Simone Biles’s early exit because of her twisties changed her thought process somehow. Previously, the athlete had made several arguments for having a strict life without familiar ones’ presence. But after Jonathan Owens came into her life, Simone embraced the situation in a better way. Her shift to normal days also came through thoroughly. Last year, the gymnast attended the Belgium World Championship and ended up with four gold medals. The US Classic title last year was another proof of her sound return.

Now in the Olympic year, she tried that move that had once kept her jolted. All these precursors are hinting at Simone Biles’s glorious athletic return.

Eight years after securing her last gold medal at the 2016 Olympics, Gabby Douglas is all set to make her return to elite gymnastics, aiming for the Olympics.

The 28-year-old will be seen competing at the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Winter Cup, to be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky from February 23 to 25. The competition will serve as the qualifying event for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Senior Women’s Competition, featuring the all-around and other events, will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. ET. Douglas showed her exceptional gymnastics skills at the 2012 London Olympics by securing two gold medals, including the team and individual all-around events. She became the first African-American woman to clinch the individual title and was the only gymnast to compete on all apparatus in team events.

Simone Biles

Three years later, at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Douglas clinched a gold medal with her team ‘Final Five.’ She announced her return to gymnastics in July 2023. While Douglas has fixed her gaze on the upcoming Olympics, the fans, unable to control their joy, took to X to show their support.

Along with Douglas, Simone Biles, who withdrew from the 2020 Olympics after experiencing twisties, only to make a comeback last year and win four gold medals at the World Championships, will be seen competing in Tokyo.

The last Olympic individual event gold medalist, Suni Lee, will also compete alongside the two gymnasts.

A fan excited to watch the three Americans competing wrote:

Legendary gymnast Simone Biles was recently adored by her fellow teammate Zoe Miller for her exceptional character.

Biles and Miller train together at the World Champions Centre, a training facility for elite athletes established by Biles’ parents in Spring, Texas, in March 2014. Miller, 18, represented the United States at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.

She clinched two gold medals in Santiago, including team and uneven bars events. Biles and Miller have developed a strong bond after training together for several years. Miller moved to Texas to train at the World Champions Centre as a nine-year-old in 2015 when Biles was 17.
Simone Biles

Speaking highly of Biles’ gymnastics prowess, Miller praised the seven-time Olympic medalist for her outstanding personality.

Biles has locked her eyes on competing at the upcoming Olympics in Paris after withdrawing from the Tokyo Games. Biles stepped down from competing in the finals in Japan after experiencing twisties, a phenomenon where the gymnast loses their ability to sync the body with the mind while maneuvering an element.
