Biles said that to spend time with her husband, Packers safety Jonathan Owens, in Green Bay (and their dogs!) is on her “holiday wishlist

Simone Biles is riding high this year, with her return to gymnastics, her status as the most-decorated gymnast in the sport’s history, and the new goal of competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics next summer.

But this holiday season, Biles is hoping to take a second to slow down and spend time with her family.

“This year on my holiday wishlist is to just spend quality time with my husband in Green Bay,” the 26-year-old gymnast told People.

Biles attended Owens’s game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, sharing a sweet moment ahead of the Packers’ 27-19 win in Green Bay. For the next few weeks, she said, she hopes to take it easy.

Biles said that much of that includes spending time with family, specifically her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, and their dogs.

Simone Biles

“Our lives can get so busy, so I plan on prioritizing self compassion and daily well-being by getting great sleep, resting when I need to, and surrounding myself with people that lift me up — family, friends, and of course, my dogs!” Biles said.

Biles and Owens, who began dating in August 2020, got married last April, and are now building a house in Texas.

Some of the US women gymnasts have experienced the best of Cecile and Laurent Landi’s Midas touch, the WCC coaches. One of them is the gymnastic great, Simone Biles. Since 2017, the 26-year-old has been residing under the guiding roof of the Landis. The French-American couple had individual gymnastic careers, but transitioned to being pilots instead.

Besides Simone Biles, two of her teammates came under the coach duo’s tutelage. The Landis kicked off their US career journey in 2004, when they signed at the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. But as more talents like Zoe Miller and Jordan Chiles are in WCC, Cecile boasts of a woman-centric training centre. In a recent post that surfaced, fans devoured a worthy frame.

Simone Biles’ best friend and daughter in one frame

No matter how staunch the gymnasts are, their hearts crave for family time during Christmas. In the same vein, Nellie and Ron Biles-owned WCC would stay closed for the festivities. So, as a pre-Christmas celebration, the coaches gathered the girls for a gala time at the gym. Captioning her Instagram story as “Merry Christmas”, Cecile Landi tried to fit all the girls in one frame.

Simone Biles

Coming to Zoe Miller, the 18-year-old had stepped into the WCC in 2014, which makes her one of the pioneers. Since then, her journey at the centre has been nothing short of amazing, especially since 2016. So, as Biles’ best friend and “Lil Baby Daughter Twin” share a frame, let’s look at one iconic coach-trainee relationship.

Landi on never giving up

Though she never harboured thoughts of being a trainer, her education helped in shaping her as a coach. Among the various questions which kept her awake, she chose to stick to these: “How can I help them feel the same way? What can I do to help them accomplish their dreams?’ That’s what makes me happy.” Since mental health held no importance in the nineties, being in close communion with Biles helped her.

She had said, “Talking with Simone and with the girls… I just want them to know that they can tell me anything.” Landi started to observe the gymnasts’ body language and a lot of credit goes to the Olympian, who has been vocal about her priorities since ‘Twisties’.

Since some of her girls are gearing up for the Olympic season, Cecile has a lot of new techniques up her sleeves.

Simone Biles may be a celebrated gymnast, but her motherly instincts differentiate her from her fellow mates. Being the oldest in the US women’s gymnastic roster, the 26-year-old has been the guiding light of many. But she shares a special bond with her ‘mini’ self, who’s also the Olympian’s bean vlog partner.

Zoe Miller, the 2023 Pan American Games’ uneven bars gold medalist has been Biles’ partner in crime since 2023 US Hydration Core Classic. Sharing frames for behind-the-scenes shenanigans mostly, the 18-year-old has always followed the footsteps of her sister-like team mate. In the same vein, another post surfaced.

Simone Biles takes her baby out

When Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens set the internet ablaze with the pictures of their probable future babies, people went wild. But little did they know that the Olympian is already mothering Zoe Miller. In her Instagram story, the 7X Olympic medalist took her baby Miller out on a dinner date. Clinking glasses, she captioned the post as, “lil baby daughter twin trip.”

Simone Biles

Sitting on the opposite of the table, the 18-year-old sported a subtle smile, complimented by soft curly tresses. The boomerang video featured a yellow drink in Biles’ hand and a light-coloured drink in Miller’s. As the caption went, the clip indeed looked like the mother-daughter duo was sharing a moment. In 2022, when Biles wished her younger version on her birthday on 12th November, she captioned her story as “Love you so much. This is mini me”.

Clearly, the post asserted the Olympian recognizes herself in the Connecticut native. Earlier in 2022, the former was seen tightening the ribbon on Miller’s hair at the US Gymnastics Championships. As more such instances keep surfacing, the 26-year-old resorted to People magazine to share her priorities.

Biles wishes to focus on prioritizing personal life

Simone Biles

2021 has been a ruckus for the Olympian, owing to her ‘Twisties’. So, Biles has learnt to keep her family and friends close amid career commitments. Speaking of that, she told People, “Our lives can get so busy, so I plan on prioritizing self compassion and daily well-being by getting great sleep, resting when I need to, and surrounding myself with people that lift me up — family, friends, and of course, my dogs!”

So, to live up to that statement, the NFL wife is spending a great deal of her time with her husband now. In fact, she even reunited with her gym girls from 2020 Tokyo Olympics. So, since her twin was feeling left out, she brought a smile to her face as well.

It’s time for another Olympic season in the coming year, and Simone Biles has her eyes set on at least 4 golds this time. A hope to repeat history

Simone Biles is back on stage and stunned fans with her return at the World Championships. Now, as she unwinds and relaxes after winning her career’s 30th medal, the star gymnast has been gearing up for the holidays. In a recent interview, she revealed how her holiday plans were to ideally spend quality time with her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens.

However, the Olympian’s plans seem to have taken a turn with her recent reunion. Biles met up with long-time friend and fellow gymnast Zoe Miller. Posting a video on her Instagram stories, the caption read:

On the other hand, Miller posted a question for fans on her stories, asking them to take a guess on her and Biles’ plans.

It turns out the gymnasts were heading to New York. In a follow-up Instagram story, both Miller and Biles shared a snapshot of Times Square that featured the 26-year-old Olympian’s advertisement with her dogs. And while this was an emotional moment for Biles, her fellow gymnast was equally supportive.

Simone Biles

While Biles still has some time to catch up to the holiday spirit and spend some quality moments with her husband, she has been on a roll meeting old friends and rekindling her true gymnast spirit with these meet-ups.

Simone Biles’ callback to the ‘Final Five’

The Rio Olympics witnessed one of the greatest gymnastics teams in the form of the ‘Final Five’. This team featured Biles, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian, and Gabby Douglas. Recently, Biles sent fans on a nostalgic trip by bringing all these elite gymnasts together.

The star posted a TikTok featuring Kyla Ross and Maggie Nichols, among other elites. And a few days earlier, she took to Instagram to share a series of professionally shot photographs of her, along with Raisman and Hernandez. Speculations might emerge, wondering if something was cooking among the gymnasts. However, fans were overjoyed to see the star team still together even after Raisman and Hernandez’s retirement. Now that Biles is back on the field, the world is excited to see how the Olympics turn out in 2024.

The most decorated gymnast, Simone Biles is a proud pet parent. Along with her husband Jonathan Owens, the couple visibly adores their three French Bulldogs: Lilo, Rambo, and Zeus. The 7-time Olympic medalist is no stranger to embracing brand deals worthy of her presence. But interestingly, this time around, a recent partnership has extended beyond Biles alone to include her fur babies.

Simone’s constant updates on her dogs have got them wide recognition. The aspect stretches to highlight the 83k followers Biles’ dogs have grown to accumulate. On the strong marketing prospect-wide open, it was Nulo that jumped to make the most. The campaign, from social media to billboards, has now reached the most coveted spot in New York; evoking a proud moment, and not just for Simone Biles.

Simone Biles shares proud moment

A few months ago, Nulo, a pet food company, chose Simone Biles to partner with for their first national campaign. Named  ‘Fuel Incredible,’ the campaign featured Biles’ two dogs, Lilo and Rambo intending to inspire pet owners to provide their pets with premium nutrition. Following the partnership, the ad campaign made it to the billboards of Times Square. Simone Biles, witnessing the moment, took to her Instagram stories to reshare the feat.

Simone Biles

As Biles stood to take in the prideful instance, fellow gymnast Zoe Miller stood with her. Zoe framed a picture of Biles on the boards of NYC to share it on her Instagram stories. “Also proud friend moment,” she captioned which Biles reshared.

Speaking on the brand, Biles had said, “As an athlete, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of fueling my body with the right nutrition, and I feel the same way when it comes to feeding my dogs.”  New brand deals or not, Biles has been kept busy throughout her break.

The gymnast hops on a little break

In October this year, Biles made a marveling comeback on the International stage in Antwerp, Belgium. With Biles II secured to her name and 5 medals added to the tally count, the Olympian seems to be on a well-deserved break. Cheering Jonathan on during his games, meeting up with the final five, or gathering for a photoshoot with the girl gang, doting moments have encompassed Biles’ past month. Today, keeping along, the gymnast seems to enjoy a little time with fellow gymnast, Zoe Miller.

“Lil baby daughter twin trip,” she wrote, sharing a clip of the two clinking glasses. It was further followed by a selfie of the two on a flight to New York. “I plan on prioritizing self-compassion…surrounding myself with people that lift me up — family, friends, and of course, my dogs!” Biles said, during an interview with People, and, she looks to be sticking to it.

Simone Biles now owns the title of being the most decorated gymnast in gymnastics history. After a two-year break, her victorious comeback showed her unmatched skill and resolve in addition to solidifying her status. However, a recent buzz points to Biles’s comeback as a calculative decision made by her WCC coach rather than a deliberate move on her part.

The Olympic gold medalist is taking her time off mats as the Summer Olympics’ appearance is still eight months away. Amid the holiday season break, a recent update by the athletics body highlighted her unplanned return.

Simone Biles: The Comeback Story

When a brief excerpt of Biles’ confession appeared on Twitter(X) through the Olympics account, the unexpected revelation began to gain traction. The snippet offered an insight into Simone’s mind following the U.S. Core Classic, implying the tacit understanding between her coach and herself that ultimately resulted in her going back to competitive gymnastics.

She said, “I really feel like Laurent is always one step ahead of me so every time I would come into the gym he’s like okay so I have some set routines for you and I’m like what I’m literally just trying to get in shape.” The video was captioned, A return worth waiting for! Seven-time Olympic medallist  @Simone_Biles broke down her return to competition after a spectacular debut at the U.S. Classic in August!

Simone Biles

After a late June announcement, Biles put up a flawless performance on August 5, earning an all-around score of 59.100, which left reigning champion Leanne Wong trail by five points. Her dominance was evident as she won first place in the floor exercise and balance beam. Her fearless approach was further clear by the inclusion of a Yurchenko double pike.

In September, Biles went to the U.S. women’s selection camp for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships extending her return winning streak while her coach extended her praise for another WCC gymnast. Her incredible achievement resulted in five medals – four gold and one silver, across six events

She also became the only gymnast to ever win the all-around title six times, joining the elite ranks of Kōhei Uchimura and the first gymnast to secure a total of 30 podium finishes in the Worlds. The triumphant comeback fueled her fans with excitement over the 2024 Paris Olympics return with the hope of extending her illustrious win collection.

Coco Gauff has outshone stars like Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka to be named the highest-paid female athlete of 2023.

The young American claimed her first major title at the US Open in September, which led to a windfall from her existing sponsorship deals. It also attracted a wave of new lucrative tie-ups, with Gauff becoming an endorsement darling.

For years, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova, both now retired, held the title of highest-paid female athlete. But with Osaka taking a break from tennis for her daughter’s birth, Gauff took the top spot, narrowly beating World No. 1 Iga Swiatek and Olympic skier Eileen Gu. In 2023, Gauff raked in an estimated £17.4 million from prize money and endorsements.

By her 15th birthday, Gauff had already bagged multiyear deals with racket maker Head, Italian pasta giant Barilla, and New Balance. Her US Open victory not only netted her £2.3m, but also triggered hefty bonuses from these sponsors.

Simone Biles

Since her win, Gauff has bagged big-money deals with Bose, UPS, and accounting firm Baker Tilly. She also has a lucrative deal with Rolex, while she took part in campaigns for Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and The Marvels movie following her maiden Grand Slam title win.

Endorsements outweigh prize winnings for every entry on the list, but no woman took home more money via sponsorship than Gu. A sophomore at Stanford, Gu is a marketing tour de force thanks to her Chinese heritage; while she grew up in San Francsico, she started competing for China in 2019 in honour of her mother.

She partnered with over 20 brands ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and her face was scattered across billboards in China while she appeared on the covers of the Chinese editions of InStyle, Marie Claire and Vogue. Gu has deals with Anta, Red Bull, Louis Vuitton, Victoria’s Secret, IWC and Tiffany – and she even walked for Bosideng at Milan Fashion Week in September.

Gauff and Gu are the youngest among the top earners, and only iconic soccer duo Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe are aged 30 or older on the list. The top 15 earned a combined $174 million, with a decrease of 19 percent from 2022 following the retirement of Williams as well as Osaka’s time off.

Tennis players continue to dominate the top of the list, holding nine of the 15 spots among the highest-paid female athletes. Soccer and skiing (two each) are next alongside single athletes from golf (Nelly Korda) and gymnastics (Biles).

Here’s a rundown of the top 15 highest-earning female athletes in 2023:

  1. Coco Gauff: £18.1 million [Prize money: £5.3 million; Endorsements: £12.8 million]
  2. Iga Swiatek: £17.5 million [Prize money: £7.9 million; Endorsements: £9.7 million]
  3. Eileen Gu: £15.9 million [Prize money: £21,500; Endorsements: £15.9 million]
  4. Emma Raducanu: £12.9 million [Prize money: £189,600; Endorsements: £12.8 million]
  5. Naomi Osaka: £12 million [Prize money: £0; Endorsements: £12 million]
  6. Aryna Sabalenka: £9.7 million [Prize money: £6.5 million; Endorsements: £3.2 million]

  15. Ons Jabeur: £4.6 million [Prize money: £2.6 million; Endorsements: £2 million]

Following a turbulent Olympic Games in 2021, gymnast Simone Biles stepped away from the sport she dominated for years.

She suffered a series of setbacks during qualifications during the COVID-19 delayed Tokyo Olympics. Biles later took to social media, where she wrote that she felt “the weight of the world on [her] shoulders,” at the time. She eventually withdrew from the competition.

But she returned to international competition this year. She picked up right where she left off, winning the gold medal in the women’s all-around final at the World Championships in October.

The iconic American athlete recently revealed that at one point she thought her gymnastics career was over.

“It honestly feels amazing to return to competition, I never thought I would compete again, so this is a blessing,” Biles told PEOPLE. “My favorite moment has been competing alongside my (World Champions Centre) WCC teammates.”

Simone Biles

In 2016, Biles had one of the most impressive showings by an American athlete at an Olympic competition in history. She brought home four gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In the summer of 2021, Biles opened up her experience with “twisties” in Tokyo.

“It’s the craziest feeling ever. Not having an inch of control over your body,” Biles said on Instagram at the time. “What’s even scarier is since I have no idea where I am in the air, I also have NO idea how I am going to land. Or what I am going to land on. Head/hands/feet back…,” she wrote at the time.

Biles described the situation as “petrifying.”

“It’s honestly petrifying trying to do a skill but not having your mind & body in sync,” she continued, adding, “10/10 do not recommend.”

“The twisties” is a condition that many gymnasts have described as a loss of control of their bodies while they are making twists in the air. Typically, those who experience it will involuntarily create an additional twist that they otherwise would not have done.

In some instances, a gymnast could even stop midway through a routine without any prior warning.

Biles married Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens earlier this year. Owens spent the past couple of seasons playing for Biles’ hometown Houston Texans.

“I’ve never been so nervous before in my life. [But,] I felt confident walking down the aisle. Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. Our guests were cheering for everyone. I was shocked by the love in the air. The ceremony was so beautiful and dreamy!” Biles recalled to Vogue.

Biles made an appearance at the Packers game in Week 13 and watched Owens and Green Bay defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is embracing the holiday spirit, as evident in her recent Instagram post. The 26-year-old shared pictures donning a festive red leotard with intricate gold detailing, featuring shiny straps and a detailed gold band around the midsection.

The leotard, a familiar outfit for Biles who has represented the United States in multiple Olympic Games and World Championships, perfectly complements the holiday season.

With her name stitched in gold thread at the hip, Biles brings a personal touch to the gymnastics fashion, hinting at more patriotic ensembles in the future.

Simone Biles

Happy for her husband

Biles celebrated her husband Jonathan Owens‘ first NFL touchdown during the Green Bay Packers‘ Thanksgiving win against the Detroit Lions.

Owens, a safety for the Packers, scored after a fumble from Lions quarterback Jared Goff, giving the Packers an unexpected lead. Biles expressed her excitement on social media

The couple, mostly in a long-distance relationship due to their sports careers, has been supportive of each other’s achievements. Biles aims to compete in the Paris Olympics next year, continuing her legacy as the most decorated gymnast in history.

The NFL fever is on. And it’s our gymnastic phenom Simone Biles who is swindling our hearts away. On December 4, the Green Bay Packers went head-on with the Kansas City Chiefs. Among the star Packers players, defensive line Jonathan Owens has a more thrilling life. All credits to his wife, who moves mountains to hype him up.

Packers won with a score of 27, leaving Chiefs behind with a 19. But the end result was not the star moment of the day. Biles rushed to the field amidst the game to extend her support with an embrace. Moreover, her puffer jacket sartorially flaunting Owens’ name on the hood, and jersey number on the back was proof that she was the best cheerleader. But as the same video resurfaced, the caption asserts unconditional love.

Simone Biles is the unrivalled love guru

The iconic video where the 26-year-old snatched a kiss from her NFL husband on the Lambeau Field resurfaced. But according to her TikTok video this time, she capped off, saying, “apparently I wasn’t supposed to be standing there oops…… oh & my lashes almost burnt off from the heat blaster machine thingy mabober I LOVE YOU HUSBAND.”

Simone Biles

The minus mercury levels of Wisconsin have been a trouble for Biles, as she’s susceptible to cold. Secondly, her turning up at such a place where usually visitors are prohibited has also caused concern. According to the caption, there was a heat blast on the field to combat the bone chilling cold. So, the air from the machine was almost melting the Olympian’s false lashes.

But one thing that stood out was the 26-year-old’s ever smiling visage, which got even brighter after the kiss. Having said so, Biles’ efforts to walk those extra miles stand as a testament to her unconditional love for Owens. In the same vein, another post boasted the Olympian alongside her friend.

Biles slays in NFL style

Posing with a fellow NFL wife, Gabrielle Dillon, Simone Biles sported a green and golden combination half-sleeved puffer jacket. The back of the jacket read Owens and 34, in support of her Packer’s partner. Dillon posted this picture with the caption, “Sunday Night Football baby!!” In fact, even Gabrielle Dillon wore a black shiny puffer with Green Bay written on the back.

But speaking of Biles’ clothes and ornaments dedicated to her husband, she stuns with a gold necklace with ‘Owens’ written on it. So, undoubtedly, this NFL season was a vivid profusion of love for Jonathan Owens and fans, too.
