Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens recently went viral during an appearance on “The Pivot” podcast after calling himself the catch and saying he didn’t even know who Simone Biles was before she messaged him via a celebrity dating app.

Biles, 26, did not make much of the situation when countless fans slammed Owens for his comments, and simply tweeted: “Are y’all done yet?” She is n

The Olympic gymnast shared a photo to Instagram Stories on Thursday of three dozen roses sent to her by Owens when they were apart from each other during New Year’s Eve.

She also showed a video of Owens teaching her father and uncle to do the dance he did after scoring a touchdown earlier this season.

Packers to the playoffs?

Biles is Owens’ biggest fan and often watches games from the very front row instead of way up in a sky box like when Taylor Swift roots for Travis Kelce.

She will also be in attendance for the team’s final regular season game against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Owens reposted Biles’ IG story of his gift to her and added a few heart emojis. For many fans, though, nothing he does will erase the viral comments. Others, however, defend him vehemently.

Jonathan Owens is a safety for the Green Bay Packers and the husband of legendary Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. Owens is a part of the rebuilding Green Bay Packers that are in the thick of a playoff push heading into the final weeks of the 2023 NFL season.

According to The Sporting News, Jonathan Owens is worth an estimated $5 million. His net worth comes from his NFL earnings, endorsements, and intelligent investment moves.

Jonathan Owens’ contract details

According to Spotrac, Jonathan Owens is on a one-year contract worth $1,010,000 with the Packers. The Missouri Western State alum joined the Packers ahead of the 2023 season after spending the last three years of his career with the Houston Texans.

The rebuilding Texans decided to go another route, and Owens was forced to take his talents to Green Bay. The veteran safety has been solid for the Packers, and he is a significant backup of the team’s secondary.

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles have both showcased their remarkable athletic talents on a global platform, enduring both triumphs and setbacks. However, TikTok sensation and astrology expert Shawty Astrology has raised eyebrows by suggesting that Owens has experienced fewer favorable days than Biles, leading to what he perceives as a distorted perception of their relationship.

Shawty Astrology conveyed his perspective, stating, “Simone Biles has a husband that’s jealous of her and very insecure. This Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in the 12th house also shows us why he pretends and acts as if he doesn’t know about her, what she’s achieved, or what she’s accomplished for herself.” This assertion implies a sense of disillusionment on Owens’ part regarding their dynamic.

Continuing on the topic, the TikToker described the relationship as “sad,” highlighting specific astrological indicators in Biles’ chart. “Note in the seventh house in her chart, which shows that she was more than likely to have a partner who would often try to compete with her. On top of that, this also reflects why she was more than likely to have a partner who feels very emasculated… I think the entire situation is just really sad and I think she deserves a lot better.”

Moving on from the astrological analysis, it’s essential to recognize Jonathan Owens‘ journey in the NFL. While Simone Biles has achieved worldwide recognition for her gymnastics prowess, Owens is striving for his breakthrough in the NFL after switching teams ahead of the 2023 season.

Owens is still waiting for his big break

Entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans in 2019, Owens faced challenges early on. Despite sticking with the Texans for four years, his impact on the field was initially limited, with no recorded stats in 2019 and 2020. The team’s performance during this period was also relatively modest.

However, Owens’ perseverance paid off as he became more prominent on the field during the 2022 season, accumulating 125 combined tackles. His subsequent move to the Green Bay Packers marked a significant career shift. Nevertheless, the Texans‘ resurgence in his absence and the Packers’ fluctuating performance have added complexity to his NFL journey.

As the Packers remain in contention for the playoffs, Owens has an opportunity to elevate his career and garner attention on a broader scale. A potential playoff surge and impactful plays could propel his NFL career to new heights, adding a sports-related spotlight to his connection with Biles.

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles are undoubtedly among the NFL’s most favorite couples. Recently married and active on social media, both Owens and Biles have continued to share their love with the rest of the world.

Dating for months before and building their dream house together, their love story is truly a fairytale for most. However, during a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Owens talked about his relationship. He admitted that he had some trouble with commitmentat first.

In an earlier interview with AP, Jonathan Owens had spoken about the Olympic gold medalist being his inspiration, in awe of her work ethic and focused drive:

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens tied the knot in April. They have been working hard to maintain their romantic relationship. They’ve also remained open about their troubles with a long-distance relationship so early into their marriage.

Simone Biles is missing her husband, Jonathan Owens, as the two navigate their long-distance marriage.

Biles, 26, shared sweet photos of Owens, 28, while the Green Bay Packers player focuses on his team’s NFL season in Wisconsin.

The newlywed couple was forced to go long-distance just a week after their wedding when Owens — who was playing for their hometown Houston Texans when they met — signed with the Packers in May.

In the first post, the Olympic gold medalist posted a photo of Owens sitting poolside on a sunny day. The NFL athlete is sporting black sunglasses and a grey t-shirt while sitting on outdoor furniture in the image.

“Miss you,” she wrote over the image of the Packers player, adding emojis of a brown heart and a teary-eyed smiley face.

In a second story, Biles shared a loved-up mirror selfie with her husband.

The couple — who got engaged in February 2022 after meeting on the Raya dating app in March 2020 — exchanged vows in a courthouse wedding in April this year, before jetting off for a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with friends and family in May.

During an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today show last month, Biles opened up about how they “started long distance less than a week” after their wedding.

“Right after Cabo he went to Green Bay and signed, and two days later, he was up there, so it’s been different.”

But the time apart helps the newlyweds “cherish the moments that we get together,” she added, and said that Owens is “doing great out in Green Bay.”

And as a silver lining to the distance, Biles said, “At least we’re both busy and focusing on our respective sports. It’s been nice.”

Last month, she snagged her eighth national title at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships and became the most decorated U.S. gymnast in world championships history.

“I think sometimes, you black out whenever all those things happen,” Biles said after her win, as reported by USA Today. “I also think whenever I won those titles back in the day, we were focusing on the next thing. What’s next? … We never got to settle in and celebrate that.”

Biles continued, “Now, moving forward, we really try to celebrate our success, individually and as a team.”

“Just so that, in a couple of years, we can remember those. Because I really don’t remember a lot from the past.”

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are watching their dream home come to life!

On Monday, the Olympic gold medalist, 26, shared another inside look at her new Texas home that she’s building with her NFL player husband. In a photo posted to her Instagram Story, Owens, 28, looks up at an empty room with drywall and unfinished floors. A door and window frame can also be seen in the background.

The Green Bay Packers safety reposted the snap on his own Instagram Story along with the caption, “Seeing the vision!!”

Biles, who tied the knot with Owens in April, has been sharing updates on their home’s progress since September when she first teased the renovation with a photo of the property alongside the caption, “Loading… 🏠🤍🛠.”

Earlier in November, the Courage to Soar author shared a carousel of photos (below) that brought her followers on a mini tour of the space. In the first slide, she’s seen smiling in a spacious room with wooden beams as she holds up what appears to be the keys to her new abode.

She also shared, “we have drywall,” along with a crying emoji over a snap of some of the walls on her Instagram Story.

In the last two images of the post, large glass sliding doors reveal a direct view of a body of water. Biles captioned the Instagram post, “eeeeeeeppppp 🛠️🏠😌.”

Simone Biles is thankful for her man!

The gymnast, 26, marked Thanksgiving with a special Instagram post dedicated to her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens.

On Friday, the Olympic athlete shared two adorable black-and-white selfies, one smiling and the other in which she plants a huge kiss on his cheek.

“Thankful 🍽🦃🍁💛,” she captioned the pics.

On Turkey Day, Biles celebrated Owens, 28, in a different way — by cheering for him on X (formerly Twitter) after he scored a touchdown during the Packers’ Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

The Olympian reposted a clip of the touchdown shared by the NFL, and wrote, “THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY MANS MY MANS MY MANSSSSS🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 LFGGGGGGOOOOOOO!”

Owens’ touchdown also helped lead the Wisconsin team to a huge 29-22 victory over the Lions, which Biles also celebrated on X, writing, “A PACKERS WIN BABY!!!!!!!!! happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽 🍁.”

Earlier in the week, Biles had a front row seat to another Packers victory. She was in attendance at Lambeau Field when Owens and his team defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20 on Nov. 19.

She documented the day with a sweet Instagram Story post of herself greeting her husband for a sideline smooch.

The pro athletes got legally married at a courthouse in their hometown, Houston, in April, and said “I do” again in an elaborate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico a month later.

Owens — who was playing for the Houston Texans when he first met Biles in 2020 — signed with the Packers in May, and the couple has been navigating a long-distance marriage since.

After becoming the most decorated gymnast of all time at the World Championships in October, Biles has been spending more time with Owens in Green Bay, and staying in their hometown of Houston to document the construction of the couple’s home.

Earlier this year, Biles opened up about married life and how it has impacted her perspective on her career.

“Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing,” the Olympic medalist told Today.

“I don’t feel like it’s the end all be all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that,” she explained. “I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.”

The gymnast, sporting a sparkly “Owens” pendant for the interview, also gave a hint about her plans for the rest of the year — cheering on her husband.

“It’s been really fun supporting what he loves to do,” she told Today. “Obviously, he’s in Green Bay right now so my season just ended. I’m super excited to get out there to Green Bay for the holidays to support him.”

Simone Biles celebrated her husband Jonathan Owens’ first NFL touchdown with a sweet social media post on Thanksgiving Day. Ultimately, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Detroit Lions 29-22. According to the 28-year-old safety, it was his first touchdown since high school, which made it even more special.

“I didn’t believe it, it didn’t feel like real life at first,” Owens said. “It was my first time being in the end zone since high school. Man, it was a great feeling.”

On Thursday, the 26-year-old gymnast attended Ford Field in Detroit. She showed off her hubby’s success with multiple posts to X as the game unfolded. On her Instagram story, she shared a sweet picture from the sidelines as she greeted her husband with a kiss.

After the touchdown, she shared her excitement and pride in her husband.

“THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!! MY MANS MY MANS MY MANSSSSS,” she wrote.

In spite of her hectic schedule of practices and competitions, Biles has been able to attend several of her husband’s games in person, according to CNN. She donned an all-black ensemble, emerald green sunglasses, and a custom jacket with Owens’ number 34 in Green Bay’s colors.

“A PACKERS WIN BABY!!!!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving,” Biles wrote on X in a separate post after the game.

Their personal sports careers and relationships seem to be well-balanced. The Today Show’s Hoda Kotb interviewed Biles about her plans to compete at the upcoming Paris Olympics in September. According to People, Biles is taking all the time she needs to prepare for the gold medal. The 2024 Paris Olympics featured a Thanksgiving commercial with Houston artist Megan Thee Stallion to ramp up the hype around the sports-filled event.

The Thanksgiving Day divisional battle between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers got off to a wild start, and U.S. gymnastics icon Simone Biles thoroughly enjoyed it.

The four-time Summer Olympics gold medallist couldn’t contain her excitement after her husband, Packers star Jonathan Owens, scored his first career touchdown. The safety was covering wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown when a fumble bounced in his direction.

While some Lions players walked back to the line of scrimmage believing it was an incomplete pass, Owens was alert and picked up the ball before finding his way into the end zone for the scoop-and-score. After review, the Packers were awarded the touchdown. Watch the wild play below:

Earlier this year, the popular couple announced that they were building a new home in Houston, Texas. They are currently living in a $2 million house in the same city.

Jonathan Owens’ Packers will next be in action on Sunday Night Football in Week 13

Going up against a Lions unit on the up is one thing, but the Packers will be handed their sternest test yet when they face the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football next week.

The game will kick off at 8:20 PM ET on NBC, live from Lambeau Field.

Despite being involved in two demanding professions of Olympic gymnastics and the NFL, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were together in supporting each other for a close relationship that lasted throughout the pandemic period. The balance that exists between them and their work lives can be seen right on their active social media profiles. Spectators have been moved by even the minor acts such as Biles attending Owens’ sports and Owens protecting Biles from internet bashing.

Biles assured that she would always have her partner’s back throughout the football season close to Thanksgiving though she would not be there physically. However, their schedule is one of those things, which does not deter them from being committed.

Simone Biles Proudly Supports Husband Jonathan Owens

The touchdown secured by Jonathan Owens, the Defender of the Packers and the husband of the US gymnastic star, Simone Biles during their Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions was noteworthy. In his last game with his team the Packers, he exhibited athleticism and skill by running down to Jared Goff’s fumble and scoring a point for them. To this Simone Biles reacted through the post on X, sharing “THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY MANS MY MANS MY MANSSSSS.. LFGGGGGGOOOOOOO!”

A splendid moment for the delighted couple indeed! As halftime approaches, the Packers maintain a commanding lead of 23-6 against the Lions.

Biles’ light-hearted moment

Simone Bile’s recent catch-up with friends but she was a kind of the odd one amongst all despite being the most decorated internationally recognized gymnast. She was the only one who drank white wine in the Green Bay Packers’ wives’ club while her friends drank red wine. Her spirited character however was briefly interrupted when she posted humorously this light scenario on her Instagram yesterday

While Biles cheers for Owens sitting at home during the Packers’ games, her recent posts on Instagram showcase the times she spends with the women of the squad. Biles remains a supporter of the Packers as she finds companionship with her pets and regular meetings with girls’ gangs as the Packers suffer two consecutive losses. Amidst the team’s challenges, Biles’s unwavering support and strong connections continue to shine.
