Simone Biles brought a little bling to the basketball arena!

The 27-year-old Olympian doubled up on the sequins for a night out with her husband, Jonathan Owens, as the couple apparently caught a Houston Rockets game at the city’s Toyota Center on April 5.

While the Miami Heat ended up handing the Rockets a 119-104 loss, Biles’ outfit was a total win. She teamed a bright red pair of sequined cowboy boots with a white sequined Prada bag. She shared a close-up of both on her Instagram Stories on April 6.

Biles also posted a few other shots of the outfit, including two selfies with her NFL player husband, 28, who opted for ripped biker jeans, a few chains and a matching brown T-shirt to go with his brown sneakers.

Since her boots commanded the room, Biles kept the rest of her outfit relatively simple. She rocked an oversized dark denim jacket, matching denim shorts and a white cropped T-shirt.

The duo posed for a selfie together at the game — which showed them smiling in front of the team’s H-Town logo — and at home in front of a mirror, as Owens stood proudly behind his partner.

This wasn’t the pair’s first time at an NBA game. They previously attended a matchup between the Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers at the Toyota Center on Jan. 29.

Just last month, Owens shared his gratitude for Biles in a heartfelt Instagram caption in honor of her 27th birthday on March 14. The couple has been married since April 2023.

For the special post, the Chicago Bears safety called his wife his “rock” and his “best friend,” and shared 10 images from an oceanside photo shoot in Hawaii.

“Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul, my amazing wife,” Owens wrote. “So crazy to me how life aligns you with the person that you’re meant to be with, you’ve made me a better man in so many ways I can’t explain it.”

“My heart, my rock and my best friend all in one,” he added. “I love you so much baby, this is going to be a special year for you and I can’t wait to support you every step along the way.”

The NCAA women’s championship is on the line and people from all over the globe are eager to find out who the eventual winner will be. Caitlin Clark and Co.’s Final Four win over UConn became the most-watched women’s college basketball game on record, even surpassing last year’s NBA Finals number. Imagine the viewership for the Final. So it’s obvious that missing out on such high-octane action will not be a wise decision.

Jonathan Owens, who is married to Simone Biles, almost missed the game. The 28-year-old shared his rant on Twitter, “I’m so confused why the national championship is so early in the day, i almost too a nap and missed it 🤦🏽‍♂️😂.”

He was in such a hurry to share, that he couldn’t even complete the spelling for took.

This is a developing story.

Gymnastics star Simone Biles is very active on social media at the moment and is sharing constant updates about her life with husband Jonathan Owens.

The duo got married earlier in 2023 and are clearly extremely devoted to one another, as they are currently building a house together.

Owens is a strong safety for the Green Bay Packers and being in the NFL means that he is travelling all over the country each month. Despite that, he has still managed to ensure that Biles gets the same gift each week.

She shared an Instagram story which showed a huge bouquet of flowers and the accompanying message: “These showed up at the doorstep, he still makes sure I get flowers weekly even though he’s 1,000 miles away. Best husband.”

Despite being so far away, Owens had made the necessary arrangements for Biles to get her flowers.

The new home in Texas

Biles recently took to Instagram to offer a glimpse of the ongoing construction of their future Texas abode.

The tour she shared started with an image of a section of the home’s facade, wrapped in protective house coverings.

She couldn’t contain her excitement as she captioned it, “Tiles are in!!!!!!!”

In a series of photos posted to Biles’ Instagram Story, she gave her followers an update on their home’s construction.

The gymnast then revealed that the “frames for the sliding doors are in,” giving us a glimpse of the interior with bare wooden beams taking shape

Another photo unveiled their “favorite view,” which featured their future home situated beside a serene body of water, embraced by lush greenery.

Continuing the tour, Simone playfully wrote, “Can’t decide if this is the hallway of my dreams or the ones that are in my nightmares lmao.”

The photo showed a door frame and high ceilings taking shape, giving a tantalizing hint of the home’s grandeur.

The Olympian and Green Bay Packer enjoyed a romantic beach getaway in Hawaii during the NFL offseason

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens showed off their love in a stunning beach photo shoot!

The 26-year-old Olympian shared a set of romantic photos with her husband, 28, as the couple enjoyed a tropical getaway to Hawaii recently.

“If home was a person,” Biles wrote in the caption of the photos, adding a handful of island-themed emojis and a heart.

In the photos, Owens is wearing just swim shorts, while Biles wears a sequin gold bikini top under a white button-up overshirt and denim shorts.

The first image shows the couple holding hands and staring into one another’s eyes as they stroll down a Hawaiian beach at sunset. In the second photo, Biles and Owens walk away from the camera while still keeping their eyes only on each other.

The third and fourth photos are a bit more playful, showing Owens holding his wife’s hand while she freely tilts her head back. The carousel ends with a picture of the couple kissing as Owens holds Biles with her legs wrapped around his waist.

Biles posted the pictures and some additional shots from their Hawaiian photo shoot to her story, tagging photographer Esther Cannon.

“Thanks for photographing our love,” she wrote in her story, adding, “These are perfect!”

The NFL player and Olympic gold medalist often share photos of each other on social media. On Valentine’s Day, which marked two years since he proposed to Biles, Owens penned a heartfelt tribute to his wife.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend ❤️❤️ I can’t believe that it’s been 2 years since this amazing day, man does time fly. You’re my rock, i feel like i can accomplish anything as long as i have you by my side. So excited to see where life takes us, I love you so much baby ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Owens on Instagram.

Biles reciprocated the love by writing in the comment section, “I love you more than ever baby🤍 best decision ever.”

Since their destination wedding in April, the couple has had to navigate a long-distance relationship as Owens signed a contract with the Green Bay Packers just one week after they tied the knot.

In September, Biles spoke about the transition during a Today Show interview with Hoda Kotb. “Right after Cabo he went to Green Bay and signed, and two days later, he was up there, so it’s been different.” she said.

Biles added, “At least we’re both busy and focusing on our respective sports. It’s been nice.”

Despite being a sturdy Texan resident, Simone Biles holds a special partiality towards the NBA squad of Golden State Warriors. It all comes down to the presence of Wardell Stephen ‘Steph’ Curry II in the number 30 jersey. The blandishing went to a heightened level when Simone wished to babysit Steph Curry’s children, Riley and Ryan, out of joy. That awe still exists in the 27-year-old gymnast.

So, when Curry required special support for an astounding task in the basketball arena last night, Simone Biles appeared. Adding an extra voice of support, Jonathan Owens joined her in the box. With that, multiple goals were achieved last night in Houston.

While Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors extended their victory run in the arena, the Biles-Owens couple immersed themselves in the box, enjoying the warmth. To make the spent moment a memorable one, Jonathan clicked a selfie with Simone Biles and posted it on his IG story. In the meantime, the athletic couple took a moment to pleasure themselves by noticing the balling prowess of Steph Curry against the home team, the Houston Rockets.

In the same IG story, the NFL safety captured the movements of both teams in the arena. However, the game ended with handing the Golden State Warriors a season-high six-game victory on a trot. But while enjoying her favorite basketball player’s game from the box, for Simone Biles it was one of the rare moments while her husband was with him despite the NFL season taking a start.

Leanne Wong from the Florida Gators announced her current engagement with NCAA Gymnastics in line. The National Championship, which is scheduled in April, is a significant step to the ladder that would lead Leanne Wong to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games this year. While balancing her NCAA and elite career, Wong was lately absent from the National camp to collect her championship ring.

However, she found her place next to her fellow gymnast, Simone Biles, thanks to technology!

Wong missed out on the national camp (April 1 to 4) because it overlapped the NCAA Regionals (April 3-4) where she is taking part. But she became a part of the championship ring-receiving team as USAG photoshopped her picture into the original picture of gymnasts including Simone Biles and Shilese Jones, among others.

The picture was posted on the Instagram of USAG with the caption, “Ring, ring!! the World Champs are calling! The 2023 Women’s Worlds Team received their Championship rings from USAG at camp yesterday!” The World Championships are slated to commence on April 17 and will last till the 20th of April.

The post extended to declare to its audience, “Don’t worry, Leanne’s is headed to her in Gainesville as she prepares for NCAA Regionals!” Interestingly, Wong has also been photoshopped with other gymnasts by another X handle in relation to this. Star Sky Gym added it while writing, “USAG loves a good Leanne photoshop lest we forget Worlds EF.” While these are doing rounds on the internet, Wong seems to be focused on her business.

Impeccable balance to pursue dual career

Leanne Wong has been managing a tough job of balancing her elite and NCAA careers. She is the only Olympic hopeful who is pursuing this dual career. Notably, this has been a conscious choice with a vision. This step allows Wong to stay in competition all through the year keeping her on top it all the time. And her coaches are also excited about it.

Florida head coach Jenny Rowland says in this regard, “Leanne wants to have the best of both worlds…I have so much respect for Leanne that she has the confidence in us as a coaching staff. It is really hard to put into words what it would mean to all of us if Leanne makes this Olympic team.” Leanne also has the same vision. So what she is up to for that?’

The Florida Gator team member said recently, “Just practice and practice and practice. So many hours in the gym and just every day going in the gym and just looking to improving just little bits.” We hope that those little bits will finally make up the perfect Olympic picture.

In the realm of gymnastics, an 18-year-old prodigy is capturing the spotlight. While Simone Biles remains a dominant force in 2023’s elite all-around gymnasts, this emerging young talent has quickly risen to prominence during the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships Selection Camp.

This prodigy’s position as a key player for Team USA was firmly established by her outstanding performance at the 2023 Pan American Games, where she clinched two gold medals. Now one of the top gymnasts in the United States and gaining fans behind her with best 6.5 floor performance, she is the most competing contender for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

Road to glory: Kaliya Lincoln sets sights on Paris 2024 Olympics

Kaliya Lincoln was once a 12-year-old girl being coached by her hero Gabby Douglas. Recently the 18-year-old posted a video on her X showing her exceptional skills at the National Training Centre captioning, last ntc♥️”. r/Gymnastics posted this 6.5-floor performance video of her on Reddit that gained lots of enthusiasm from fans calling her the second Simone Biles. Kaliya Lincoln’s journey from the Winter Cup, where she claimed a gold medal on the floor, to the Xfinity U.S. Championships, where she secured a second-place finish behind Simone Biles gained a lot of praise.

Kaliya Lincoln’s recent performance at the 2023 Pan American Games was spectacular, solidifying her status as a primetime player for Team USA. Her outstanding display of skill and determination led to her capturing not just one, but two gold medals – one in the team event and another on the floor exercise. A two-year hiatus from international competition due to a stress fracture in her shin at the end of 2021 and diagnosis of OCD in her knees, requiring surgery, could have derailed her career.

The journey back to competition was undoubtedly tough for Lincoln as she told Inside Gymnastics, “That was definitely hard for me physically and mentally”. She was thinking, “What if I’m not going to be as good anymore? What if my power is not going to be the same?” Now sharing glimpses of her training session for upcoming summer games left her fans in awe.

Kaliya Lincoln’s recent video has sparked an outpouring of love and admiration from her fans, with supporters eagerly sharing their heartfelt comments and reactions. One of the fans witnessed Simone Biles’ performance and exclaimed, “I would say that she has the potential to be the 2nd best behind Simone because Simone is the only outlier who can break 15 on floor as of now. Domestically, I don’t think Jade is gonna outscore her even with her Olympic floor difficulty because Jade doesn’t have some valuable dance elements (credible double L / double wolf turn) and she loses at least 0.3 in her D dance elements.”

Other fan commented on Lincoln’s potential to follow in Biles’ footsteps and become a dominant figure in gymnastics and said, “She has the potential to be the best floor worker in the world.” A fan shared their sentiment, saying, “God her tumbling is so good, I really want to see her floor in Paris! She could genuinely walk away with an Olympic medal on floor”. Someone else chimed in with enthusiasm, “I am rooting for her to make the Paris team!” Another fan expressed a high level of confidence in Kaliya Lincoln’s abilities and said, “I think she has a really high chance for a floor medal in Paris, but I’m not sure whether the selection committee will pick her or a gymnast who can do a Cheng + a potential low 14 floor.”

As the Olympic year approaches, Kaliya Lincoln is maintaining a focused approach, taking her journey one step at a time. Her primary focus is on upgrading her routines, especially on the floor, where she aims to incorporate a laid out double double as Simone Biles. This ambitious goal aligns with her ultimate aspiration of competing at the Olympic Trials. Fans eagerly anticipate her journey and are ready to support her every step of the way.

The Iowa Hawkeyes showed their superiority once again last night as the women’s basketball team advanced to the Final Four. Dominating the LSU Tigers, the Iowa women decimated their Elite 8 opponents in style, and Caitlin Clark couldn’t have asked for a better match. Scoring a staggering 9 three-pointers, the guard led her team to a decisive victory. With her NCAA record-matching performance, Clark is now justifiably prompting fans to scurry and find the proper instance in collegiate gymnastics that can match up to her last night’s display of skills.

Clark contributed heavily with 41 points of her own in Iowa’s 94-87 victory over their NCAA opponents. With the NCAA women’s gymnastics full of record-making performances over the years, it was only a matter of time before fans started drawing parallels with the greatest showdowns to commemorate Clark’s historic night.

Caitlin Clark got the job done, and how!

In a recent post on X (previously known as Twitter) by the University of Michigan alum Olivia Karas, it’s evident that she’s mesmerized by Caitlin’s stellar form. However, simultaneously she couldn’t deny that gymnastics, the sport that helped her attain stardom in the domestic circuit, is wrought with thrilling performances. “What’s everyone’s gymnastics equivalent to Caitlin Clark making 9 threes last night?“, reads the caption of the post. The Big Ten gymnastics analyst seemed bent on finding the proper example that could match Clark’s career-highlighting moment.

Monday’s match made history in other areas as well. With 12.3 million viewers, the match broke all previous records of the highest viewership for any non-Final-Four women’s basketball match. For the Final Four, the Hawkeyes will face off against UConn, who secured their spot in the semis after defeating USC. While Iowa gears up for the showdown, the country’s gymnastics fans take a moment to share their favorite moments they believe can give Caitlin’s performance a run for its money.

NCAA celebrity Karin Lichey is considered one of the greatest collegiate gymnasts of all time, thanks to the 21 Perfect 10s throughout her career, and one fan just couldn’t let the chance go without dropping her name into the mix.

Paris hopefuls have to go through some warmup events to confirm their July seats. And one of those events is the USA Gymnastics National Training Camp, being aired from April 2. In Katy, Texas, the top-tier gymnasts have been putting up a great show. Especially Simone Biles, who lit her 2024 lamp on this competitive mat. But a serious complication surfaced when fans found themselves sitting in front of a ‘pink screen’ .

FlipNow.TV’s  PPV charges were a whopping $9.99 and fans agreed to pay over the odds to watch their favorite athletes perform. But they were left infuriated when Biles and her compatriots didn’t show up on the screen while Camp verification. This may be because opting out of a stream is an option to them. As more controversies kept coming, the 26-year-old shocked fans with her latest update.

Simone Biles’ shared frame with her girls

World Champions Centre, Biles’ holy gym run by her parents, has an official Instagram handle. The latest post features the WCC bunch who hit the Training Camp routines just to secure seats at the Pacific Rim Championships and the City of Jesolo Trophy. Capping it off with “@usagym April Camp✨2024 countdown is on: 115 days till 🇫🇷 ✈️ @nbcolympics @paris2024”, Biles parents went against her will. Since fans didn’t get a glimpse of her prowess on stage, it can be assumed that she chose not to go public.

But there have been several complaints against USA Gym’s move since they released the list of athletes with all the names. Just 115 days to the marquee event and Biles’ shot at bagging her 5th gold and more. But what next? Is she planning to draw a line to her year with the Paris Olympics?

Simone Biles‘ parents don’t just make sure their daughter gets everything she needs on her way to the top. Running the World Champions Center, the Biles family also tries their best to help more rising stars find their footing in the highly competitive gymnastics foray. And it looks like, one of Simone’s training partners, Dulcy Caylor, is making the most of the opportunities.

As if the anticipation for the Olympics weren’t enough by itself! With the National Training Camp witnessing the country’s top talents flexing their skills, fans are bracing up for an incredibly thrilling showdown in Paris later this year. On top of that new faces are coming forward assuring fans that the baton for the USA’s dominant status in world gymnastics can be carried with more than enough proficiency by future generations.

Gymnast’s training with Simone Biles pays off

A recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the official USA Gymnastics account has fans reeling from an unexpected surprise. “Soooooo… who wants to see some scores from those who verified for assignments!?” reads the caption of the post, teasing fans about what’s on the table for the upcoming Paris Olympics. The accompanying chart shows Caylor topping the seniors’ table with an impressive 52.950 points to her name after throwing her best in eight events.

Now considering Caylor is only 17, her numbers are quite impressive. On the other hand, prominent names like Katelyn Jong and Reese Esponda are much lower on the table. Undoubtedly, Caylor’s performance is worth noting and it would seem like her training sessions in close contact with Simone Biles have paid off considerably.

The April selection event will determine the national roster for two upcoming international events, and scoring 13.900 on the vault only bolstered her claim for a spot in Team USA. Only last month, Caylor stated that although she doesn’t think she’s at par with the country’s most decorated gymnast, she wanted to show the world that she’s not far behind. And from the looks of things, she isn’t fairing too bad either.

A spectacular talent on the rise in Caylor

The City of Jesolo Trophy Senior and the Pacific Rim Championships are just around the corner, and the teenager had to up her game. Caylor’s 2024 season started off strongly. She clarified with Olympics.com about the changes she had to bring to her routine to ensure her time as a senior athlete didn’t get stalled by repeating the same routines from her junior events. “This first senior elite season was a major wake-up call for me because I didn’t work smart enough“, stated Caylor. She also bagged a bronze medal in the vault event at the recently concluded Winter Cup 2024 showcasing her talent.

Along with finishing fifth overall at the Winter Cup, Caylor is also eyeing the upcoming Olympics as the perfect chance to announce her arrival to the world. “I’m very happy I get to compete for Team USA and get that experience as many meets as I can“, said Caylor in an interview with Olympics.com. Now, with her newfound confidence, it waits to be seen if she can etch her name among the country’s best figures in the coming months as the world waits for the grand showdown in Europe.
