At the age of 26, gymnastics icon Simone Biles stands as the most decorated and revered athlete in the field. With 37 medals, 7 Olympics, and 5 elements to her name, Biles is nothing short of a legend. However, the journey to the pinnacle of her career hasn’t been all smooth sailing. There are ample amounts of travails and euphoria. The gymnast suffered an unkind childhood but found refuge in her grandparents. Today, as she stands with excellence, Biles looks for ways to give back.

From as young as a 3-year-old, Simone and her siblings found themselves in foster care. The gymnast who has often been gritty has advocated for mental health and foster children, all in the light of her experience. Today, as she continues to extend her gestures, Simone revealed in an interview one instance of struggle that drives her.

Simone Biles names the challenging moment

The CNN Heroes recently included Biles as one of their features for her popular work with Friends of the Children. Her continued dedication toward foster children got the team at CNN to ask Simone why the organization was so close to her heart.

Simone Biles

“I actually was a foster kid, so I know some of the hardships that those kids go through,” Simone started. Biles and her siblings were forced into foster care because of their mom’s substance abuse. The plight, combined with a heart-wrenching anecdote, led them to be taken in.

“I just remember us as kids being so hungry and then I just remember this cat that would get fed and not quite us. And so we were taken.” The three siblings hopped around foster care for 3 years until the sisters were adopted by their grandparents.

Though Biles has revealed that her situation wasn’t the worst, the challenges have nonetheless been a chisel for her to understand those of similar fate. The experience has thus infused sincerity in the gymnast as she continues to extend her glimmer of hope.

The gymnast stands in solidarity

Simone Biles joined hands with Friends of the Children to celebrate youth. As a person on a higher platform and someone to have walked the similar footsteps, Biles hoped to provide the right mentor for the kids in need. “I know how special having a mentor, and somebody who believes in you… I think that’s a really unique situation and it’s important, and I wish there were more Friends of the Children,” the gymnast remarked.

Moreover, the gymnast wanted to break the stigma, let the world know that foster care ‘isn’t going to be the only title’. And today, with her position in the field, there’s none better to carry the message.

The rumors started after Biles, 26, posted a picture of herself at her husband Jonathan Owens’ most recent football game. The iconic gymnast was pictured rocking a brown, fitted pant and top with an oversized camouflage jacket. Apparently, fans thought they were seeing a round stomach on the fit star and believed that meant she was pregnant.

“I hate that I even have to address this, but please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant,’” Biles wrote in a post on Instagram above the image in question. “I’m not pregnant.”

Biles went to the game to show her hubby some love. He joined the Green Bay Packers in May of this year, shortly after their wedding. As a result, the two have been in a long-distance marriage since Biles has her own career commitments, which consist of making history. Earlier this year, she won her sixth world all-around gold medal, which resulted in her breaking her own record and becoming the most decorated gymnast in history. Despite a busy schedule and training, Biles makes an effort to attend as many of Owens’s games as possible and she’s always cheering him on front row and center.

The loving athletes took their relationship to new heights in April; they had two weddings–one at the courthouse and another lush celebration in Cabo. The couple tied the knot after beginning their fairytale romance at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. They met on the Raya dating app.

Shortly after the wedding, Owens announced he would be playing for the Green Bay Packers and Biles, who holds 27 world medals, was getting ready to compete in Antwerp, Belgium after taking time off to take care of her mental health.

Owens and Biles are currently building their dream home and both excelling in their respective careers. We hope fans can learn to not comment on women’s bodies as the pair continue enjoying their first year of marriage together.’

The gymnastic GOAT Simone Biles is binge holidaying, but she can’t naturally stay away from gymnastics for long. While simultaneously cheering for her husband, Jonathan Owens in his NFL pursuits, the 26-year-old is also looking forward to clinch another glory at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Hence, in the wake of that, Biles is girding up her loins to commence the 2024 season on a great note. However, this time, she engaged in a rather unconventional routine ahead of the 2024 season.

Whether it is her stringent training sessions or mat practice routines, the gymnast never shies away from keeping her fans updated about her behind-the-scenes gymnastics run-through. Along similar lines, Simone Biles once again gave another peek inside her gymnastics spree, but this time, the maneuver she is performing does not belong to her beloved arena.

Simone Biles’ intriguing floor routine

Taking to her Instagram story, the Olympian shared a video of her unusual floor routine. Capping off the story as “noone asked but…. this is how the floor routine is going”, Simone Biles burst out in laughter. Donning a red skin tight gym top and black pants, Biles was up for a fun floor session. Though her 2024 Paris Olympics is just some months away, she chose to take it slow.

Gregory Milan, choreographer of the French women’s gymnastic team, paired up with the Olympian to accompany her on the floor in a fun dance routine. Milan twirled and took her up in the air, while Biles stretched out her feet with her toes pointed

But the landing was what caught attention. As she stepped on the floor, the two of them walked away in opposite directions with wide smiles

Interestingly, in the video, Biles was performing her unconventional floor routine alongside French choreographer Gregory Milan in the dance studio adorned with full-length mirrors.

The man behind French Gymnastics team’s in sync choreography

Currently working at the INSEP training center in Vincennes, Gregory Milan graduated from the ballet school of the Paris Opera ballet. So, naturally, his plea to work at a training centre got heard by a coach later. But his perspective changed as he joined, and he said “Very staccato, very rough movements, with a sense of geometry” about gymnastics.

Now, giving classes to the elite gymnasts looks like his everyday thing. The 18-year-old Lucie Henna had once said, “In gymnastics, we really need to hold our legs well, to work on flexibility and dynamics, and I think Greg really brings us this finishing touch.”

The Paris Opera Ballet School graduate danced with the Victor Ullate Ballet in Madrid, where his colleagues included Tamara Rojo and Lucía Lacarra, before becoming a soloist with the Ballet de l’Opéra de Bordeaux in France. Interestingly, the French choreographer has now shared the floor with gymnastics queen Simone Biles and the duo flaunted some graceful dance moves. With this, Biles and Milan indeed took all the brownie points through their stellar floor routine, don’t you agree?

Simone Biles has shared some exciting updates from her new house journey. As she’s done over the past few months, the legendary gymnast posted various photos and videos showing the interior of her new home which she’s building together with husband Jonathan Owens.

After her previous post of the exterior of the house, it now appears that work is in full swing on the interior. Plenty of progress has been made, with shelving units and doors being successfully installed

Biles and husband Owens are now one step to fulfilling their joint dream of building their own home in Texas. It was back in September when Biles teased fans about a possible house build project with photos of plans accompanied by the caption “loading…”.

Baby on the way?

In recent days there has been plenty of speculation as to whether Biles might be pregnant. It was a photo that the Olympic champion shared on her social media from the MetLife Stadium that spared the rumors. It received thousands of comments from fans, with many even congratulating her.

Biles quickly denied the rumors via an Instagram story. “I hate that I even have to address this,” the gymnast began, “but please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant. I’m not pregnant,” she said.

Most fans didn’t buy it, though and even if she’s not pregnant right now, most expect a baby may be on the way soon, especially once their house project is finished.

Simone Biles is shutting down speculation from fans that she is pregnant.

In an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, the Olympic gold medalist responded to a flurry of fans who flooded the comments of her recent post and left messages congratulating her for having a baby on the way.

The problem? Biles — who is married to Green Bay Packers’ safety Jonathan Owens — is not expecting.

“I hate that I even have to address this,” the 26-year-old Olympian started her message on social media. “But please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant.’ I’m not pregnant.

In the comments of her post — which shows her in a brown outfit with a camouflage jacket standing in front of the field during a recent NFL game — the gymnast’s followers left dozens of comments mentioning what they thought appeared to be a “baby bump.”

“Is she expecting?? I m so happy for them!!❤️❤️❤️” one person wrote.

“I see that belly,” added another.

“Baby on board,” a third commented.

After Biles responded on her Instagram Story, many of her followers jumped to her defense underneath the post, telling people to stop speculating and commenting on women’s bodies.

“It is so incredibly rude to assume a woman is pregnant without her mentioning it. We only see what she chooses to post. You have no idea what may be going on in someone’s life,” one fan wrote.

“why are y’all thinking she’s pregnant?? she’s literally competing in the olympics so i doubt she’s thinking about having a baby rn??” another wrote.

Simone Biles

Back in September, the gymnast told Hoda Kotb during an appearance on The Today show that competing in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris is her current goal and that she “would love to go.”

“I think we have to be a little bit more cautious about how we do things, so everything that we’re doing leading up to this next games or whatever is very intentional,” Biles said of her mindset. “So we’ve kind of been playing it on the down-low this time, making sure mentally and physically are both intact. So I think it’ll be different, but it’ll be good.”

It’s been a big year for the gymnast, who won her eighth U.S. Championship in August. She also added the title of “wife” to her belt in April.

Biles and Owens first wed in an intimate city hall ceremony in Texas and then in a lavish fairy-tale ceremony in Mexico several weeks later. For now, she said they are just focused on cherishing the moments they do have together as she continues to train and he works during the NFL season.

“Unfortunately we’re actually long distance. We started long distance less than a week after we were married. Right after Cabo he went to Green Bay and he signed and then two days later he was up there,” she said in September. “So it’s been different, but at least we’re both busy and focusing on our respective sports. It’s been nice and we cherish the moments we get together.”

It’s no new news for fans when Simone Biles pops in to watch and cheer for husband and NFL star Jonathan Owens during his matches. The Olympian gymnast has set the bar high for significant others by going all out and donning her cheerleading hat. And the recent Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants game witnessed the same.

As Owens stuns in the field, Biles makes sure to highlight her love and support for him. Not only did she fly to New York for the match, but she also took fellow gymnast Zoe Miller along. What followed was a series of Instagram stories from around NYC and ended with a cheer for her husband.

She shared an on-field shot of Owens during the game and penned a sweet message for him:

This referred to his jersey number ’34’, which Biles has often sported on her attire during these matches. During the previous Packers vs. Chiefs game, Biles was even deemed her husband’s lucky charm upon his win.

Now that she was in New York, Biles first made sure to do the essentials. This included going to Times Square along with Miller and witnessing her brand partnership featured on the enormous billboard. And now, she enjoys watching her husband play at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The star also put up a snapshot of the stadium and a picture of something like a concession stand or candy display. While the match trudges on, only time will tell if Biles somehow manages to turn the tables in the Packers’ favor.

What went down with Simone Biles at the Packers vs. Chiefs game?

The previous Green Bay Packers game against the Kansas City Chiefs was quite eventful, not only due to the controversies surrounding on-field shoves. Fans turned the star-studded game into a playful war between Biles and pop star Taylor Swift.

Since both stars were in attendance to support their respective partners from opposing teams, fans saw the perfect opportunity. Instead of it being termed a Jonathan Owens vs. Travis Kelce situation, people began competing on which star they wanted to get more glimpses of—Simone Biles or Taylor Swift. However, after the Packers won, enthusiasts were quick to crown the star gymnast as her husband’s lucky charm. Now it is time to wait and watch if Owens’ lady luck works her magic in New Jersey, too.

Simone Biles has had a brilliant 2023. From her romantic wedding in May to her gymnastics comeback in August 2023 to her husband Jonathan Owens making waves at the NFL this year has been pivotal for the Olympian. Cherishing each milestone is the name of the game whilst also gatekeeping one of life’s most precious conduits – her mental health.

Simone Biles explained, “I try to come here and support my husband as much as possible. But then, as soon as I get home, it’s training all the time. Simone Biles’s excitement for the holidays is unmistakable, as she already launched two holiday collections before Christmas.

Biles said that to spend time with her husband, Packers safety Jonathan Owens, in Green Bay (and their dogs!) is on her “holiday wishlist

Simone Biles is riding high this year, with her return to gymnastics, her status as the most-decorated gymnast in the sport’s history, and the new goal of competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics next summer.

But this holiday season, Biles is hoping to take a second to slow down and spend time with her family.

“This year on my holiday wishlist is to just spend quality time with my husband in Green Bay,” the 26-year-old gymnast told People.

Biles attended Owens’s game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, sharing a sweet moment ahead of the Packers’ 27-19 win in Green Bay. For the next few weeks, she said, she hopes to take it easy.

Biles said that much of that includes spending time with family, specifically her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, and their dogs.

“Our lives can get so busy, so I plan on prioritizing self compassion and daily well-being by getting great sleep, resting when I need to, and surrounding myself with people that lift me up — family, friends, and of course, my dogs!” Biles said.

Biles and Owens, who began dating in August 2020, got married last April, and are now building a house in Texas.

Some of the US women gymnasts have experienced the best of Cecile and Laurent Landi’s Midas touch, the WCC coaches. One of them is the gymnastic great, Simone Biles. Since 2017, the 26-year-old has been residing under the guiding roof of the Landis. The French-American couple had individual gymnastic careers, but transitioned to being pilots instead.

Besides Simone Biles, two of her teammates came under the coach duo’s tutelage. The Landis kicked off their US career journey in 2004, when they signed at the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. But as more talents like Zoe Miller and Jordan Chiles are in WCC, Cecile boasts of a woman-centric training centre. In a recent post that surfaced, fans devoured a worthy frame.

Simone Biles’ best friend and daughter in one frame

No matter how staunch the gymnasts are, their hearts crave for family time during Christmas. In the same vein, Nellie and Ron Biles-owned WCC would stay closed for the festivities. So, as a pre-Christmas celebration, the coaches gathered the girls for a gala time at the gym. Captioning her Instagram story as “Merry Christmas”, Cecile Landi tried to fit all the girls in one frame.

Simone Biles

Coming to Zoe Miller, the 18-year-old had stepped into the WCC in 2014, which makes her one of the pioneers. Since then, her journey at the centre has been nothing short of amazing, especially since 2016. So, as Biles’ best friend and “Lil Baby Daughter Twin” share a frame, let’s look at one iconic coach-trainee relationship.

Landi on never giving up

Though she never harboured thoughts of being a trainer, her education helped in shaping her as a coach. Among the various questions which kept her awake, she chose to stick to these: “How can I help them feel the same way? What can I do to help them accomplish their dreams?’ That’s what makes me happy.” Since mental health held no importance in the nineties, being in close communion with Biles helped her.

She had said, “Talking with Simone and with the girls… I just want them to know that they can tell me anything.” Landi started to observe the gymnasts’ body language and a lot of credit goes to the Olympian, who has been vocal about her priorities since ‘Twisties’.

Since some of her girls are gearing up for the Olympic season, Cecile has a lot of new techniques up her sleeves.
