Simone Biles has made history with an incredible comeback after a two-year hiatus, cementing her GOAT status by becoming the most decorated gymnast of all time. Biles competed in the World Artistic Gymnastic Championships in Belgium where she took home four gold medals bringing her to a total of 37. Geoff Bennett discussed Biles’ return to competition with Christine Brennan of USA Today.

Geoff, I think because of what you just said, all the things she’s had to deal with, being a survivor of the most horrific sexual abuse scandal in sports history, domestic or international, the Larry Nassar horrors, being abused in that way. being someone who, as we know from two years ago, went through the twisties.

Simone Biles

That was the getting lost in the air, the mental block and the difficulties that she had, to the point where she had to withdraw from several events at the Tokyo Olympics. Being 26 years old, having lived through all of that, and coming back to have the week of her life athletically in terms of the physical prowess that we know she’s had going all the way back to the Rio Olympics, actually going all the way back 10 years ago to her first World Championship, and the ability to put that all together in a sport that is truly a high-wire act.

You hold to breath at almost every one of those disciplines. And everything she does, being an incredible high-flying act on the floor exercise, of course, the vault that she’s known for, all the other exercises that are just literally a millimeter one way or the other and there’s no medal at all or you’re falling off.

It’s a — it turns out to be something that is — obviously, you can’t come back from. And yet, time and again, Geoff, she was not only good, but she was great, the greatest of all time, proving once again and showing us once again just how great she can be.

Simone Biles‘ niece Baby Biles has been the apple of her family’s eyes since she landed. Starting from making an appearance at auntie TT’s National title winning event, to taking visits to mom Sammi’s gym, she has done it all. On November 25, in the presence of friends and family, the muchkin celebrated her first birthday. But what lies ahead has more eyes.

Never failing to go extra miles for their daughter, parents Sammi and Ron Biles II spots unique opportunities to make Ronni’s life better. Even auntie TT and Adria Biles gets customized leotards for the bay oftentimes. According to a recent post, Sammi found a creative way to document her daughter’s growing up. But the fun part is, it wouldn’t require much creativity.

Simone Biles’ sister-in-law has a creative eye

An iconic brand Feeding Littles, which mainly functions through Instagram, comes up with unique ways to help parents deal with their children easily. Popularly known as picky eating experts, the duo Megan and Judy has a skirt idea now. Their post says, “You do not have to be crafty or creative to pull this off, we promise! Comment TREE to get a link to the supplies to get this done!”

Sharing the post, Sammi wrote, “adds another craft to the list”, while tagging Ron Biles II. This asserted that the new parents are planning to have a Christmas tree skirt with Ronni’s hand or footprints, which Feeding Little would help them with.

Recently, the Biles family celebrated a year’s completion of their adorable Ronni. She, being an IVF baby, has always been vulnerable and prone to infection. But her strong will to pull through adverse situations gets commended often. As Ronni turned 1, her mother penned back-to-back heartfelt notes on her birthday.

Ronni’s mom’s post on her big day

On November 25, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law’s Insta story had beautiful cutouts of Ronni’s pictures, colorful balloons and a streamer reading “Happy Birthday”. Further on, she captioned her story as “sobbing, LIKE, HOW ARE YOU ALREADY ONE????!!!!” Getting emotional on her big day makes sense to the parents as Ronni’s IVF journey has been difficult.

Recently, she got diagnosed with RSV and a lot of clinic visits followed. In fact, a while ago, she came under the weather and got RSV positive as well. But the parents never lost hope. All credits to Ronni’s strong will.

As she is prepared to turn more heads now, her aunt is also preparing for the same.

Simone Biles is still celebrating joyous moments. On November 25, 2022, the 7-time Olympic medalist joyfully welcomed her adorable niece. After days of prayers and anticipation, the miracle baby, Ronni, arrived into the arms of Sammi and Ron Biles II. Being an IVF baby wasn’t easy. However, the resilient munchkin bravely faced all odds. Now, a year later, the highly anticipated day kept family and fans eagerly waiting.

On November 25 this year, the proud parents celebrated their daughter’s birthday. The Biles family and close friends dedicated their hearts and souls to the celebration, especially auntie TT, who flew back and forth to be there for her husband before finally landing home for her niece’s special day. In a gesture of gratitude, mom Sammi Biles took to Ronni’s social media to pen a heartfelt message.

Simone Biles’ niece thanks her village

According to Baby Biles’ Instagram post, the caption says, “11.25.23, Happy 1st Birthday to our baby girl!!! You are soo loved && adored. We cannot thank our village ENOUGH for coming through!!! We love y’all so much!!!” The rainbow and unicorn-themed birthday bash looked nothing short of magical. And Ronni looked eagerly from the toddler play area, looking like a little fairy.

Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, expressing gratitude for Ronni’s well-being, extended shout-outs to everyone involved in making the party a success. She thanked Blue Mixer Bakery for the delightful cupcakes and birthday cake. Additionally, she credited She Can Bake for the lovely cookies, and acknowledged auntie TT for providing the delicious spread. The other aunties contributed to the party by arranging the backdrop, decor, gift boxes, and the dress.

Notably, grandparents Nellie and Ron Biles deserve special recognition. Ronni’s beloved grandparents warmly welcomed the guests into their home. Alongside the caption, the Olympian’s sister-in-law shared a series of pictures, providing fans with glimpses of the occasion.

Since Ronni was born just before the Christmas month began, the parents were even more thankful. Additionally, two other miracle babies similarly blessed their parents’ lives. Interestingly, all three of them gathered together this time.

Baby Biles’ birthday has miracle guests

When one of the mothers posted, “worst club, best members. Three IVF miracle babies, all born a few months apart.” Taking pride in being a member of the IVF club, Sammi wrote in response, “How are all our girls one already?!!!” Starting from frequent hospital visits to her father’s hip replacement surgery, the family had waited for a bright day.

As the baby embarked on her second year on Earth, her favorite auntie preps herself for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. All eyes on both the niece and her aunt to turn more heads this time.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are one step closer to living in their dream home.

On Monday (Nov. 27), the decorated gymnast took to her Instagram Story with updates on the construction of their new pad in Texas, as reported by PEOPLE. According to the outlet, the couple has been building their abode since November 2022.

In her post, Biles added a photo of her hubby standing in an area of their home surrounded by windows, drywall and unfinished concrete flooring, along with what appears to be an entrance door.

The Green Bay Packers player reposted the same image to his Instagram Story, adding the caption “Seeing the vision!!”

Back in September, the Olympic medalist shared development updates about their property with PEOPLE. Photos included Biles walking through a wooden framework of the home and a sweet snap of the duo hand-in-hand while standing on sandy ground.

Earlier this month, the newlyweds had an outdoor photoshoot capturing the essence of the fall season. In one of the frames, the husband and wife lay on a bed of yellow leaves as their heads face each other.

Aside from the handful of Olympic gold medals and the countless other accolades that she has racked up over the years, Simone Biles is just like the rest of us. Her Thanksgiving weekend included some well-deserved girls time, which, of course, resulted in a night out with a few cocktails. And (like us), after a night of drinking, the last thing she wanted to do was repeat the process.

The professional gymnast took to her TikTok page to share her hilarious take on a post-night out mimosa recipe. Rather than the typical ingredients (champagne or prosecco with a touch of orange juice), Biles poured a glass full of juice and then took the pitcher of Prosecco and simply (and jokingly) wafted the fumes from the bottle into her glass, laughing alongside her friends as she did so.

“PRO TIP: how to make a mimosa after a girls night out ……… 🥴👀 #sendhelp #mimosa,” she joked in the caption of the comical clip. Her followers joined in on the fun, replying to her antics in the comment section of her TikTok.

“You are so real for that 🥰,” one follower said of the expert tip.

“How to make a mimosa after Friendsgiving 😂,” another added knowingly.

“Got it backwards 😅,” one fan jokingly critiqued her method.

Regardless of the “right” way to handle the day after a night out, Biles certainly elicited some laughs with her funny post-drinking antics. And we would expect nothing less of the fun gymnast.

Great game from Jonathan Owens, but more importantly: being married to Simone Biles is way cooler than dating Taylor Swift,” a fan wrote after the gymnastics trailblazer, Simone Biles’ husband made one of the touchdowns in the Thanksgiving game. For NFL safety Owens, a debut impression on the field of play was doomed as the Green Bay Packers were struggling to recover their four straight losses.

In other news, covering the NFL couples, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were harshly compared to the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift. Emerging as a promising star, Jonathan finally shared a win credit with Jordan Love. After Simone, Jonathan finds another reason to extend the victory celebrations.

Simone Biles joined by Packers fans to cheer for Jonathan Owens

After Jonathan recovered a touchdown, granting the Packers a 20-6 advantage against the Lions at Ford Field during the Thanksgiving game, the attention on Simone’s admiration for her husband wasn’t the only highlight in American headlines. The enthusiasm of Packers fans took center stage. Jonathan reposted an Instagram story from Lambeau Field, the Packers’ home field, adding to the fervor.

The video showed Jonathan Owens sitting on a chair approached by a sweet old man who approached with a first bomb. In similar spirits, Owens first bombed him back in a fun exchange after exchanging a small conversation. The @packers’ Instagram stories shared a few glimpses noting, “#packers players supported the @salvationarmy_greenbay this holiday season by signing autographs for fans in exchange for monetary donations.

On another note, the feeling is similar to Simone’s fandom cheering for the athlete giving her a sweet competition. Although clearly, the seven-time Olympic gymnast competes on another legendary level as Google already declared her the G.O.A.T. However while Simone’s critics’ are silenced by the Gymnastics World its not all the same story as an NFL couple.

Earlier backlash over poor performance

Back on November 19, despite a win over the Los Angeles Chargers in a 23-20 finish, a drop by Jonathan Owens saw an ugly outpour from the NFL community. It all happened after Gerald Everett was out, and Stone Smartt emerged dominant following which Owens was unable to defend a 51-yard touchdown by Justin Herbert.

Many turned to target Biles on X, someone wrote, “If I were Simone Biles, I’d be on the phone to a divorce lawyer after watching that tackle attempt.”

Another one said, “We got Simone Biles watching this nonsense“;  It quickly escalated as some name-called saying, “@Simone_Biles your husband sucks” Call it a comeback similar to Biles since both athletes are now walking similar paths marked by victory.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are watching their dream home come to life!

On Monday, the Olympic gold medalist, 26, shared another inside look at her new Texas home that she’s building with her NFL player husband. In a photo posted to her Instagram Story, Owens, 28, looks up at an empty room with drywall and unfinished floors. A door and window frame can also be seen in the background.

The Green Bay Packers safety reposted the snap on his own Instagram Story along with the caption, “Seeing the vision!!”

Biles, who tied the knot with Owens in April, has been sharing updates on their home’s progress since September when she first teased the renovation with a photo of the property alongside the caption, “Loading… 🏠🤍🛠.”

Earlier in November, the Courage to Soar author shared a carousel of photos (below) that brought her followers on a mini tour of the space. In the first slide, she’s seen smiling in a spacious room with wooden beams as she holds up what appears to be the keys to her new abode.

She also shared, “we have drywall,” along with a crying emoji over a snap of some of the walls on her Instagram Story.

In the last two images of the post, large glass sliding doors reveal a direct view of a body of water. Biles captioned the Instagram post, “eeeeeeeppppp 🛠️🏠😌.”

Simone Biles never shies away from authentically being herself. After a season of delivering unparalleled excellence in gymnastics, Biles is currently savoring her well-deserved 2023 off-season.

From photo shoots with her childhood girlfriends to tequila-fueled Halloween parties to mid-game shots with her Green Bay Packers girl squad, she is making sure to commence the year on a high note. And now, in one such bold update, the gymnastics queen defended her latest life choices with a twist.i9

Simone Biles defends her choices with a bold post

Simone Biles took to TikTok recently and shared a video with her close friend, Sam Roy. In the video, Biles dressed in a chic light blue skirt set and Roy in a stunning black outfit were seen with pink tequila drinks in one hand and, in the other, a glass of wine. The two smiled while dancing with their drinks. Biles wrote in her caption, defending her choices: “When you’re each other’s bad influences & full of tequila, this is JUST a joke… We aren’t toxic but bad influences…. Maybe Imao #bestfriends #tequilagirls”.

The video was taken the night Biles enjoyed a girl’s night out with Sam Roy, her sister Adria Biles, and Adria’s girlfriend Janae Jefferson. Tequila seemed to be the fuel for the night, and Biles even took to Instagram to share a picture with Sam while the two beautiful women clinked their pink drinks and wrote, “But first, tequila.” Simone Biles even shared that the girls’ night wasn’t merely about partying; the celebrations held a special significance as well.

The reason for the special celebrations

On the very night the TikTok video was recorded, Simone Biles took to Instagram stories to convey a heartfelt message. She posted an image with her sister Adria Biles’s girlfriend, Janae Jefferson, where the two women beamed from ear to ear and posed with drinks in their hands

Biles extended her warm wishes to Janae Jefferson, an accomplished and talented softball player for the Texas Smoke, and wrote, “So many things to celebrate this weekend,” with a heart emoji. She continued writing, “Congrats to my sisters gf on Pan Am GOLD Janae Jefferson. LFG!!!!!!!!!!”

On Saturday, November 25, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines clashed in an epic showdown. The night culminated in a 30-24 defeat for the Ohio State Buckeyes, allowing the Wolverines to advance to the Big Ten championship. The game was a thrilling spectacle for football fans in both states.

America’s Favorite Video Today

However, one football fan was left upset, and that was none other than gymnastics queen Simone Biles. Biles, a fan of the Buckeyes, didn’t shy away from expressing this upset. Interestingly, her expression ended up sparking a wave of discontent among football fans, upsetting the gymnastics queen.

Simone Biles expresses major upset for her favorite football team

Simone Biles is a true Texan at heart, calling Houston her home. However, the gymnastics queen was born in Columbus, Ohio, and has remained true to her roots. Hence, the recent loss of the Ohio State Buckeyes left the gymnastics queen visibly upset.

After the Buckeyes’ defeat to the Wolverines, Biles took to Instagram threads, candidly expressing, “I need Ohio State to win to shut up all the annoying *ichigan fans….” However, her comment was construed as somewhat harsh, sparking discontent among football fans, who began to express their discontent with her post.

Biles leaves many football fans disgruntled

Simone Biles’ post showcasing her support for her favorite football team stirred up a tidal wave of comments, revealing a range of emotions from angry and upset fans. One disgruntled fan expressed their upset with Biles while also poking fun at the Ohio State coach, saying, “Disappointed in your attitude. Go blue! Ryan(last) Day”. Another football fan and Simone Biles fan commented, “I’m a HUGE fan of yours. And a *ichigan Alumni. The Two can co-exist”. “Sorry Simone, we be talking another year, you love it and you know it!” said another.

Another dissenting voice chimed in with “Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, even if it’s wrong”. And “People Are allowed to choose their teams but did not expect this from the Simone Biles” said another.

While another person commented, “Lol gotta disagree with you,” adding a goat emoji, acknowledging Biles as the greatest of all time. However, not all comments were lighthearted, as one person, visibly upset with Biles, shared, “When you go from hero to zero”

Although Simone Biles is a beloved gymnast, her support for her favorite team landed her on the wrong side of many football fans. The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines are set to face the No. 18 Iowa Hawkeyes on December 2, 2023, in the Big Ten Championship Game. Meanwhile, the fate of the Ohio State Buckeyes remains uncertain as they await to discover their destination for the upcoming bowl season.

Simone Biles is thankful for her man!

The gymnast, 26, marked Thanksgiving with a special Instagram post dedicated to her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens.

On Friday, the Olympic athlete shared two adorable black-and-white selfies, one smiling and the other in which she plants a huge kiss on his cheek.

“Thankful 🍽🦃🍁💛,” she captioned the pics.

On Turkey Day, Biles celebrated Owens, 28, in a different way — by cheering for him on X (formerly Twitter) after he scored a touchdown during the Packers’ Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

The Olympian reposted a clip of the touchdown shared by the NFL, and wrote, “THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY MANS MY MANS MY MANSSSSS🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 LFGGGGGGOOOOOOO!”

Owens’ touchdown also helped lead the Wisconsin team to a huge 29-22 victory over the Lions, which Biles also celebrated on X, writing, “A PACKERS WIN BABY!!!!!!!!! happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽 🍁.”

Earlier in the week, Biles had a front row seat to another Packers victory. She was in attendance at Lambeau Field when Owens and his team defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20 on Nov. 19.

She documented the day with a sweet Instagram Story post of herself greeting her husband for a sideline smooch.

The pro athletes got legally married at a courthouse in their hometown, Houston, in April, and said “I do” again in an elaborate ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico a month later.

Owens — who was playing for the Houston Texans when he first met Biles in 2020 — signed with the Packers in May, and the couple has been navigating a long-distance marriage since.

After becoming the most decorated gymnast of all time at the World Championships in October, Biles has been spending more time with Owens in Green Bay, and staying in their hometown of Houston to document the construction of the couple’s home.

Earlier this year, Biles opened up about married life and how it has impacted her perspective on her career.

“Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing,” the Olympic medalist told Today.

“I don’t feel like it’s the end all be all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that,” she explained. “I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.”

The gymnast, sporting a sparkly “Owens” pendant for the interview, also gave a hint about her plans for the rest of the year — cheering on her husband.

“It’s been really fun supporting what he loves to do,” she told Today. “Obviously, he’s in Green Bay right now so my season just ended. I’m super excited to get out there to Green Bay for the holidays to support him.”
